What comparisons where available to the fans at that time though ?

It is a double edged sword, play conservatively ( the % RL as it is called ) and win, but struggle to keep or bring in new fans, or chance your arm which might cost you the odd game , but will get the club talked about in the town

To build a support base ( specifically new young fans ) you do need to win the bulk of your home matches, but also excite those people who are at their 1 st game

Should be 2 more announced in this weeks courier. One who's been widely speculated about. And another who I've not seen mentioned on here.

Yup Potts should be announced this week on a 2 year deal. Dunno who the other one is tho....?? 2 of the quickest (if not the quickest in Potts) wingers in this division with Worrincy and not sure how they will get the ball based on last season...??

I'm just praying its highlighting a change in tactics next year...??!!

Signed a short term contract untill end of season. Did say he wanted to stay but nothing been said since then.

Also hope we sign Ben Davis

I think both Ben Davies and Luke Adamson have to be confirmed as staying! As far as im aware they both signed until the end of this season. If we get them both it would represent a significant step moving forward with a pre season behind them.

I think we need a good strike centre, and maybe a full back. Although we might kill 2 birds with one stone with a centre, and start giving Ben Heaton some age time at FB!!

Littlerich is on the Wigan Forum , as I post this message maybe acting on Big Karls orders for a spying mission , after all the pies at the DW are supposed to be very good .

Tommy Saxton has been mentioned before and his name has cropped up again, could be an outside bet.

This weeks press has Fax linked to a new name for me.
It just says Halifax are talking to released Warrington Wolves reserve stand off Will Milner who has a local connection with Elland.

In addition to the other players we have been linked with and are expected to be announced this week or soon after KH is quoted as saying that it will be a tough year with all clubs recruiting well but he is happy with how the squad is taking shape and Fax are still talking to a couple of other players but nothing is concrete at this point in time.
