e.g. if Jamie Field hadn't dropped the ball at Post Office Rd, Rovers were in the ascendency and would have gone on to win. He did, Rovers didn't. end of!!
Humble???? No, not really, and why should I be?? I haven't stopped banging on about last nights comeback to anyone who'll stand still long enough to have a play be play recall of the 2nd half!!!!
2 great games v Fax. Last nights was an absolute belter. I didn't craw when we lost. I'm not retiring when we win.
But I guarantee no-one will be abused by me, no one will have their noses rubbed in it and I won't marginalise anyone.
Now my mate rovers - he's another candidate altogether. Fieldhead hospital awaits his attendance!!!!
But I would suggest if Fax came back from 18-0 down to win last night our forum would be full of it. It was a fantastic effort.

That explains a lot about last night, I didn't get there until 7.30 so I must have missed the first game.
Who was it against and did we win that one?

I can't agree with this post more, particularly re the match at fev. However much defeat hurts, some of us really have to learn to take it on the chin. Fev were outstanding last night and deserve all the crowing and plaudits they get.

Why do you only bring your fat head on here when we lose? What a pathetic troll. Thankfully though, our losses are rare ................ as are your childish visits to this site.'"
oops bro seems you have got under this fax fans skin. Blame the coach marra. Instead of disrespecting the other teams with his 'we are the best team by a country mile' outburst, keep your head down, win the league and then gloat. Bet he is really looking forward to Haven comming in a few weeks eh.

Of course we do!
It just sends out the message to all the teams in the league, come to Halifax, have your defence sorted and play simple, basic RL and you'll beat Fax, like Sheffield, Widnes and Fev have now done.
I knew when we came out for the second half we were going to lose. We looked flat, thought we could go through the motions, pass the ball about with no penetration and still win. Fev are not a bad side by any stretch of the imagination, 3rd as it happens and teams will raise their games against the side who are top of the league, which we are. We went to sleep resting on our laurels and thinking the game was won at 18-0 and Fev (and I) sensed victory. You can't go to sleep with players like Iestyn Harris on the other side.
It's all fair and good going all the way over to Toulouse and putting on the performance of the season when we can't win our home games. Last nights loss makes the Toulouse game less of an achievement. If we'd have won last night I don't think we'd have been caught. Bottlers of big games we are quickly turning in to.
And don't give me the rubbish of being tired. The players by all accounts bar the game, had a relaxing trip down to the South of France and even without that, the players and staff have known the fixture schedule for months and will have co-ordinated training this week around it.

Good lord i dont believe it HUMBLE IN VICTORY, your club could write the book on that couldnt they. Win a few games and your local MP is going to parliment demanding you be put in super league, win a few more your coach is saying your the best by you know what, how in gods name is that being humble, then your spotty virgin fans singing easy, easy etc when only 6-0 up. Halifax are not the most popular team on the planet at the mo

They also have a good team that are very tough to beat. Fev ALWAYS struggle against Sheffield. Now sod off back to your own board. Fans of other clubs are always welcome on here but when they are full of such crap like you then frankly you are not welcome . Well played Fev'"
I am not repeat am not been disrespectfull to those teams, you badly miss the point

oops.......
I obviously meant 40 minutes, but we will be back and we are STILL 5 points clear in the league on level games with Barrow and Featherstone and 6 points clear of Widnes with a game in hand.

It was at 18-0 actually, yer it was a bit cocky but you wouldn't have sung it then???
The MP was nowt to do with the club.
Matt Callands comments were made after a near sensational win at Cas so he got ahead of himself, he will learn to keep his mouth shut, I hope.
Being top means you are the ones others want to knock off their perch, sad to hear you think we are so unpopular though.

Yer but they are few, we Fax fans are not happy with them but success brings this type, don't tar us all with the same brush.
Come on there are a few Fev fans that are a bit er rough, like the guy in the gents goading us with 'we own our own ground over and over again', okay enjoy your win mate but don't kick us in the teeth about our ground, although come next year we will have a better one even though it won't be ours.

Pot kettle black?
What about the complete and utter t0sser fev fan and his mates who were intent on picking fights with a group of older blokes who couldn't have been above 5' 6''? He cant even use the excuse that he'd been wound up by our lot as he was at it before kick off....
Even the Fev fans I was stood with (Fantastic blokes by the way, had a good bit of banter all game and were knowledgeable, decent lads) said that he was looking for it.
My point is, you're fans are no angels just as a selection of ours aren't either. There will always be n0bheads at sporting events and when things are that tense it brings the worst out of em.
