What we need to remember with MC it was not just the NRC it was the first 10 league games in which we were awful - He was not judged on just one poor performance - at one point we could have gone down !!!!

What i'm getting at is, no matter who we have as coach, or who we have in the playing squad - this is Halifax. This is what we do.

Its a young naive team. In their minds, they should have beaten Fev. Skolars probably played like their lives depended on it, as was our attitude last week. "Its only Skolars" mentality nearly cost the club another few grand or much more. These kids will learn. Wouldn't fancy being in the away changing room after the game.

As for MC, hes the past now, im sure we can move on, many of us had our own personal reason and stories for why we didnt think he was right, or why we didnt like him personally, we won a trophy though, we'll hopefully have more now and its time to make some more memorable times.

I think that KH will let them know what he thinks and what he expects in the future. The season kicks off next week, and I'm sure we'll see lessons learned.

Didn't we win today? The scoring suggests that it may have been a tense close fought contest, with a desperate last gasp try to win it. I would rather see that than a tedious victory by 50 points. This was Skolars' biggest game of the season and I expect that they played their hearts out.

If sports teams started repaying entrance fees every time they have a poor performance then that would leave quite a hole in their finances, especially when they have played away from home so they haven't even received any income in the first place.

No I wasn't their and bloody glad I didnt go as trip was going to cost me £150+ and the rest!! Don't be naive, our 23's last year would probably beat these lot! It's our lot being lazy that nearly cost the club lots of cash!! The last time we didn't qualify the club had to win the GF just to stay in business!! I dont need to be in London to see that the performance wasn't and isn't acceptable! I was also getting regular updates from someone at the game so I know we were average at best!! Legs left on the coach were his words and the only analogy I can use at this time of day!! This time though I trust KH to act on the performance and give em hell!! We needed to be professional in our execution of this game and not expect to just turn up and win!!

My comment re refunding money was slightly tongue in cheek kidda!! However I am serious about lazy lacklustre performances!! We are in the hat but only after an injury time try, being out of this comp at thus stage could have had dire consequences for the club, trust me!! That team had too much across the park for any Skolars side, a lack of respect caused the result today!! Luckily for us we live to smile another day!!
