BUT, stop charging down kicks, we could have lost that game today with the charge down and Murrell trying to pick up on the run instead of just dropping on the ball. I still think Ecclstone has a hell of a lot to learn, taking the kick-off just inside the dead ball line instead of putting his foot over the line. Thinking players win games.

Charging down kicks is an odd one in RL. It shows that we are putting good pressure on the kicker but RL rules don't reward the player/ team for Charging down, which is a shame. May be a rule change so like Union a legal charge down is not a knock on. It's rewarded as a skill and therefore advantage to the defending team.

HJ. A bit of an injustice to Fax there i think. You can only play as well as you are allowed and the Fax lads absolutely nullified the icons today. I agree that the bullies looked poor but surely that was down to our lads superb effort. Sportsman, shudds. Mallinsons Nelson Sauvin 3.8 % Mmm!

One of my friends from work, who is Dulls fan said that when the players went over at the end the Bratfut "supporters" were calling the players "F'ing Wa@@@@s" and giving them the fingers. Even my friend said the so called supporters are pathetic.

I'm happy that we put pressure on the kicker but, as you say, the rules do not benefit the charge down, ergo, don't do it.

A charge down isn't counted as a knock on in league either it's just we need to recover the ball after making the charge down!

That was a much needed win and we deserved it although they were poor but we got stuck in and it was a throw back to last season as we tackled them out of their stride although they never got in one!
I agree about the charge down and would say don't bother unless the rule changes as it has cost us this season and nearly did again.
Bold move by Richard today playing Steve Tyrer and Ben Kaye after being out injured plus putting Tommy in who never let us down and the two rookies Jake Eccleston and Brandon Moore did well.
Lets kick on and beat Fev now to get our season back on track, this should give us loads of confidence.
