| If the Bulls are owned by Super League, surely they will remain in Super League, which is then a conditional offer - which is why ABC was refused?
Purely from an legal point of view, surely there's an issue where the CEO of the RFL who refuses the ABC bid, then goes and buys it through SLE could be considered a conflict of interest?
Riddled with nonsense this whole thing.

| This is an absolute disgrace. Surely cannot be legal.
Next weeks Boots n' All should be interesting. Can here Eddie already "Ground breaking move by the innovative RFL". An absolute disgrace and questioned should now be asked by Wakefield and Crusaders as to why they were left to fend for themselves.
The only interest i now have in SL is just to see what ridiculous idea they can have next.
Bradford fans must be relieved but a little embarrassed too.

| [i“This situation is clearly unacceptable and raises the tangible prospect that we could lose one of our most famous clubs, which would be a tragedy of significant proportions, not just to the sport and the city of Bradford but to the remaining staff, players and volunteers who all deserve some stability after the turmoil of recent events"[/i
Did the RFL say this when Halifax, Doncaster, Crusaders, Wakefield went into administration? I don't think so.
[i"Super League clubs have tabled an offer to purchase Bradford Bulls from the club’s official administrator"[/i
How are certain clubs in SL funding this offer? Correct me if I am wrong but aren't London, Cas, Salford and Hull KR already pretty skint and struggling to pay there own running costs right now.

| I can see the logic and the hypocrisy.
However the RFL have to act as the situation at Odsal is becoming like a pantomime and dragging the whole game through the gutter, not mention the finance being sucked away by the administrator.
This will be a ploy to get Bradford out of the spot light and do the right thing by the players and staff at Bradford.
Pretty sure the club will be sold after 2012 season with a good amount of time spent on a deal that will work for both parties.
I fully expect Bradford to be operating in the championship in 2013, the uproar if not would be too damaging for the game overall.

| Least the Scottish Premier League and Football League chairmen had morals and Rangers were FAR more important to their game than the Bulls are to ours.
Oldham, Leigh, Donny, Fax, Wakey, Crusaders all left to go to rack and ruin and nearly to the wall, they got themselves into this mess, should have left them to sort it out.
Next round of licenses:
"So Nigel, who should we give a license to this time?"
"Erm, well I suppose to start with we should give one to the club that we own, especially seen as we own the ground too."

| It looks as though this is short term just to keep the Bulls going untill the end of this season, its just been on sky sports news that super league europe are stating that they are open to offers to sell the Bulls.
I think thre RFL had a big part to play, as an urgent meeting was reported to have been called yesterday by the RFL at red hall for all the SL clubs directors. It would also not suprise me if the RFL didn't put up some if not most of the money themselves as a good handfull of SL clubs seem to be struggling as it is without adding the Bulls.

| So if this is only till the end of the season and then Bulls will be for sale again what happens if no-one comes in to buy them then when they have built up more debt, all the players have found teams for next season because of the insecurity?RFL is making itself a laughing stock, let Bradford go out of business and restart in championship 1 and let RL be seen to do the right thing by those clubs who have lived within their means, where volunteers work their socks off week in week out and the club survives by the skin of its teeth.No-one club is ,or should be,bigger than the sport of RL and it is time for the RFL to show some balls and sort this out the right way

| What gets to me most about all this is the remarks about "not letting the bulls die" and how important they are. Im heavily involved in the amateur game and spent many days last year filling form after form in to get clubmark, a lot involved the RFLs diversity and respect programmes were everyone must be treat the same. No matter what colour of skin you are or who you share your bed with, and thats fine we all agree and buy into it whole heartedly. But they them bstds DONT practice what they preach they dont reat all there member clubs the same. Some THEY see as more important, Featherstone has just as rich a history as Bradford Northern / bulls yet we wouldnt get this treatment (using Rovers as eg cos i support em, could be any champ team) they go on about how much they mean to the city, dont remember Bradford ever getting a crowd bigger than there population never mind a dozen, but we wouldnt get the treatment there getting. All i want is them to practice what they preach and treat ALL there member clubs the same
