| No it wasn't used last year, it was where Sky put the cameras/commentary box etc and I would imagine Premier Sports will ahve a similar set up, so don't think it will be used this year. As far as I know the capacity of them 3 stands is 11,000 and last years attendance was just short of 9,000. So there won't be a need for east stand to be open.

Sorry, didn't mean it to sound daft. I should have chosen my words better (posting quick on my phone). I didn't mean safe, it will be safe to sit anywhere in the ground and I don't have any issues sitting with away fans. What I meant was have fax been issued seats N-X, therefore meaning if I bought seats in block N I would be sat with Fax fans for the atmosphere. Last year I bought them at random and was sat with Leigh fans, which wasn't an issue other than I was the only one around cheering when we scored.
I am unable to get to the Shay this week and was looking to buy them from the rfl website.

Do we know what time kick off is?
Is it the same as last year, which was?
I think it was in the afternoon, but when you hit Wetherspoons at 9.00 a.m for breakfast.
It's hard to remember.

Not sure, can't find the kick off time on either the RFL or Northern Rail web site

Think you may find the middle 3 blocks are set aside for hospitality etc. Last year when we bought tickets from the club, the nearest to the half way line we could get was the next block out from those 3.
If you want to be sat with the true fans, you may be better off being away from the middle.

| The Northern Rail final (Blackpool) holds a special place with me. Last year I went with my farther, who used to go to every game back in the day. He stopped going when it became summer rugby due to other commitments. Last year was the first time he had seen Halifax play in a long while the result and weather could have been better but it was a good day. It was the last day I spent with my farther as 2 days later he died. I have now moved to a place called Kitimat, in the north of British Columbia, Canada and will not make the game this year. I will however be glued to my PC as always, reading the build-up and then watching the game willing Halifax to win and thinking about my Dad.
I did last weekend (Canada day) get over 300 people singing this Fax is on Fire. I am spreading the word and will try and connect the pc to the TV so I can introduce the Canadians to a tougher game than ice Hockey.
