I'm affraid the whole club has been branded, as happens in such circumstances, read your own forum idiots threads from time to time, we are all arsonists apparently, One stupid action from one fan causes this and it has lasting effects, They need routing out and punishing, Unfortunatly you only have to look at your crowds dwindleing to realise people are staying away. These forums certainly dont help to be honest, Look at the incidents you had with Leigh this year, Posted all over message boards, not good advertising is it ?. Fev club trying to help with secure parking, stewards walking to the car park after the game etc, as goood as it is the club doing this ( which i think is a excellent idea ) it gets posted on official club sites. You read this information and think, there must be a problem there, i'll give it a miss. Your damned if you do and damned if you dont. If the guy who did cause the terrible attack that day last year had been found and punished i am sure some of the anomisity would havve disipated by now.

Have Fev sorted the segregation bit for Fax fans yet or is it still the same sitting duck situation we had for the league game. FWIW i dont think many of the numpty element went to the league game but with this been a Semi-Final and on TV i feel they may be `well up` for this one.

The way Fev fans are acting on their forum I hope Fax hammer them. As usual they claim to be all innocent and we are a set of moaners who dont follow our club. I used to have respect for them but not anymore. Fev have a problem-albeit a small one where away fans dont feel like turning up to Post Office Road. Its up to the club AND the fans to change that image, but when you have such numpties as post on their forum then nothings going to change as they dont feel they have a problem and the blame is always on Fax, Leigh etc.

To be perfectly honest, we are all as bad as each other at having digs at other clubs as most of us and them wear our appropriate club coloured specs and see things accordingly. The fax fans were shouting you Fat Barsteward at P.March on thursday for taking too long for the dropout ( me included i am ashamed to say ) and after watching back you can clearly hear it on sky, but then we slag fev off for chanting W!"$y W!"*y Halifax or " shall we start a fire for you " I'm not condoning or defending, Just a point put accross, and before posters go looking for my previous posts. I have also been one of the above who come to the defense of the club in the past. Lots of this is banter which other clubs have, its only becuase of GF day last year and what happened why this keeps coming up.

gingdong - I wonder why you have been 'branded' as you say you have? Maybe it's because a section of YOUR clubs fans' seriously assaulted a fan of MY club. These people have tarnished the Featherstone Rovers name and I shall never 'get over' this. I feel physically sick when I think about the events that took place that day.

I will go to every game except when we play your lot at Post Office Road. I don't care if people tell me I'm not a true fan or whatever. It's my choice and I'm happy with it.

He is bang on, there are elements in all fans, but having sat in the stand for the last game, I have to say in every single ground I have been in (and that is just about every single one) I have never heard it as bad as at Featherstone.

That doesnt put me off, I am a bloke who has been around the block a few times, but it does put me off bringing my granddaughter. I am not naieve and she has heard it at other games, but I would not subject her to the Fev version of language.

But i'll be there.

Let's not forget that the idiots are a minority. Fev have some great supporters.

I would suggest, however, that the best thing that could happen to "build the bridge" between the clubs would be for those protecting the identity of the thugs to tell the police what they know.

No you dont except you have a problem. Your fans are still aggresive and anti Fax as can be seen on your forum. There are some numpties at Fax and we know that. But they havent put somebody in a Hospital fighting for his life. Also a number of Fev fans are aggressive not just the odd one. It sums it up when fans of a number of Championship Clubs say they think twice about going to Fev-not just Halifax fans. You lot have been branding Halifax as aggressive since the Stand was on fire and trying to blame Fax fans for being aggresive-when often its the other way round. You blame Fax fans for starting a fire when there is no proof Who the person was who started it. To be honest Fev can go and do one and take the fans with them as what I read on their Forum in the past couple of days angers me. Fax fans are no angels but the way Fev fans go on well the respect I had for them is gone and the problem between the two sets of fans I feel is going to get worse before it gets better.
