I saw the banner and didn't realise the significance. I was acquainted with him from his time on the committee of the West Riding Youth ARL when he took on the role as chairman when no-one else would.
He will be missed.

I dont think I knew him but sad to hear the death of anybody. The impact it has on family and friends can never be properly known.

I only knew of him on this forum, and found him to be very knowledgeable about the game. He also contributed to the FaxFans sponsorship several times, and was always one of the first to chip in or make up the difference if we were short of the total. TBH, I'm shocked to hear of his passing. My sincerest condolences to his family.

Very sorry to hear this sad news. My thoughts are with his family and friends at this time. He was a nice bloke and a devoted fan of the club. Also a well respected man in amateur rugby league circles.
