Quote: JBFAX "because toulouse are CR#P and keighley are not much better so this win proves nothing. if you want to be satisfied with mediocre(spelling???) then go ahead but wind your neck in and if you dont like my opinion then do one.'"

your right the opposition was cr@p but the performace and attitude was the key today, both were good.

We could have won by 12 pts shipped in a lot of tries and played poop, we didn't, our defence looked organised and we eventually looked like a team that could score at will.

Its not about accepting mediocrity. Its about supporting the team - and your post isnt doing that. Did you go today? Did you think the team played crap? What about the game plan - did you think we had one?

as i said before i hope it does continue but the same happened last year, we dropped off at the end of the season and only beat featherstone just after they had played more play off games and we had been resting and then we just had the edge.

I hope i am wrong but i just dont think so

Why get rid of Martin Hall? He is responsible for bringing players in-which he has done and often them players are quality-Branighan, Maloney, OstickSaid etc. You are always going to get some players who fail to deliver. But then having no reserve team does not really help these players find form or have match fitness when called upon. I think its good that we have somebody to coach and somebody to worry about things away from the training and playing side of things. Regarding Matt Calland-he still has to show that he has what it takes to be a decent coach. That continues on Thursday. Solid team performance doing the basics right with a couple of various attacking options other than just a quick play the ball and us defending and cutting out the silly penalties. Its up to him to show us in the next week or so what he can do.

i did not say that. Ovenden would have pushed toulouse today. we were more organised and we were better but there is along way to go to get back to our best. I just think we wont get there with matt I hope i am wrong if we keep him

50 – 6 a good win but!

Your avin a laugh if u are not happy with that, any team can only beat the team they are playing, fact.

Did the players look committed, they did to me, how many runs from Penky at dummy half, lots, fantastic.

Patterson backed himself from 80 yards, fully committed, also on great kicking form, Said and Frank, good impact from the bench, defo. Bowman getting better with each game, my tip for super league and England in the future.

Worrincy getting better and better month on month, his running is getting stronger and stronger. Royston devastating running again, well coached and played out moves there me thinks.

New stand, superb, good views

A good day at the office eusa_clap.gif

The futures bright in Blue in White

We shouldn't be losing to anybody??? Why?? Because we are the best team by a country mile??

Get a grip there are plenty of good teams.

Unfortunately the last few weeks have been damaging- the crowd was only 1700 last night but its about taking baby steps now and we did everything we had to last night so well done boys.

I heard someone on the way out saying we made hard work of it? really?? Some people must think of negative things to say at the end before kick off!

The next few weeks make interesting reading in the league

Looking at the top 5 sides fixtures until half way in season

Featherstone - Sheffield (a), Toulouse (h), Widnes (a), Leigh (a), Keighley (h)
Leigh - Bye, Sheffield (h), Dewsbury (a), Featherstone (h), Widnes (h)
Widnes - Toulouse (h), Batley (a), Featherstone (h), Barrow (a), Leigh (a)
Halifax - Keighley (h), Whitehaven (a), Bye, Dewsbury (h), Barrow (h)
Barrow - Batley (h), Dewsbury (h), Keighley (a), Widnes (h), Halifax (a)

The league is going to look completely different by round 11. We may not be playing well but we saw an improvement yesterday.

Yes there were unforced errors but even Featherstone had unforced errors against us on Friday, so you can't just say there were a few unforced errors so we're no better.

Our league is a measure of a sides performance over 20 games not just a few poor performances or a bad spell. Lets see where they are in these next five rounds.

Halifax - Keighley (h) WIN, Whitehaven (a) WIN, Bye, Dewsbury (h) WIN, Barrow (h) ?

Fax will win them all except perhaps Barrow which is to close to call, all this Calland stuff will be forgotten by then.

He's let it slip that Calland makes him stiff. His avatar of those slappers is just a front!
