We do need to be more cohesive though - both in defence and attack. It's OK having a number of classy individual players but we need a more structured game plan. Every time we start our set of six i'm expecting a knock on or a brain fart. Every time we start defending a set i expect a penalty. It does no good for my nerves! During the madcap 46-40 victory at Leigh we had a spell of fifteen minutes where we defended like Featherstone did last night. It was structured and penalty free. Please lets have more of this.

Now the one thing that grates a bit is that when Calland was suspended all players were moaning and crying about how they wanted him back yet most of the time it dosnt appear that they are playing for him, maybe some are and some are not, for me though its more a case of some of the players are on easy street and are afraid if another coach comes in they may actually have to step it up a bit.

Spot on - this is the main area we struggle with. We just don't seem to dominate the PTB area either in attack or defence. That was the difference last night. Fev were not particularly inventive or that quick in attack, but they were always on the front foot and controlled the speed at which the game was played because of the way they dominated the ruck.

Myself and Mama Haigh picked up on that while watching the game back on TV. You'd have thought Fax were the team in red last night. Quick play the balls, getting rolls on and pushing through at every opportunity to let Kain run riot, lots of men supporting the ball carrier.

is it just me that thought we played badly,had loads of injuries before and during the game, dropped ball numerous times, gave away loads of penalties but [u=#BF0000ONLY[/u got beat by the best team in our division by [u=#BF000010[/u points?
some people need to have a word with themselves, the way i see it is, we get fev in play offs at full strength and we'll win no probs.
