| Quote Canoeman="Canoeman"Can't believe the game is not being televised, hard to believe really. However the window on the Halifax page (to the right) says it is on TV (Premier)...have they changed their minds on this or is there a typo. I know there has been quite a bit of pressure from over here to have it televised...anybody know whats up?'"
Not heard anything. I can't see Sky being flexible to be honest. You can always attend in person Canoeman. Though not sure on Chorley-Manchester-Halifax rail connections on a Sunday. And I'm assuming the Canadian streams just pay for Premiers camera work in England, so I'm assuming no TV coverage.

| Havent all the TWP games been shown on TV this season on Freesport or what ever the channel is. May be its that? I heard Simon Grix on Radio Leeds this morning talking breifly about the qualifiers and the game on Sunday. We seen to be getting a nice bit of coverage this week. lets hope we get a win on Sunday and generate more interest in Fax.

| It might be on the radio with the Whinos trying to play on Saturday against Toulouse. That will be an interesting game as well.

Must be a typo then...canoes don't travel on rail lines, but if I head south on Lake Huron, pass Detroit, then navigate the rest of the Great Lakes and get into the St. Lawrence River, blow past Montreal and Quebec City and head south once I hit the east coast I'll make Halifax yet! Just hope its the right Halifax and I make it before game time.
Look at the problems a typo can cause!
Should be a good game....still can't believe its not televised....

| Will Maher in the Cas squad for their game on Friday against Wigan.
Will has been going well for us, happened before though so still not certain he won’t be available.
With Tangata out we may see Baldy get a run.

Will has done well for Fax but this DR really has turned out to be very annoying. It's bonkers that Cas can just include a Fax regular in their squad. Thought DR worked in Fev's favour a couple of years ago when they played Golding, Mulhally, Baldwinson and Ormonroyd against us to qualify but generally I think we're better off without it.
Anyway, looking forward to watching Widnes-v-London and Leeds-v-Toulouse. A real good tester to see if Champsionship clubs really can give SL a game, or whether we're all abit too confident. This is what the bookies think:
London given 10 points start against Widnes
Toulouse given 16 points start against Whinos
Fax given 10 points start against Toronto

| london have been going very well so could see them having Widness. . Leeds depends on just how low their confidence is and how the match goes for the first 15 . Halifax will have to match the Fev performance to get a result I feel .

Good call(and spelling ) and last night should lift any psycological barrier for the Championship. After all the hype it would be great if the mounties were the only championship side to lose this weekend...

Well you'll be watching on your own in an empty stadium. I, however, will be going on Sunday and it'll be nice not to be a nervous wreck even though I obviously still want Fax to win well. I think Toronto will do as Leigh did 3 years ago when they (under Rowley) choked it bad finishing bottom when they were expected to challenge for SL.

| That may be the case but you’d think Rowley will have learned from that experience, he learned enough to get out of Leigh and away from DB.

| If we beat Toronto, I cant see why not, I think they will struggle because if their promotion hopes start looking uncertain a lot of player will bee looking for clubs back in the UK. They wont want another year back and forth while playing in the Championship. Should be a belter of a match.
