A ridiculous decision to move the game to Friday. I thought the game was for the supporters? Wakefield must be rolling in it if they can afford to turn fans away. I reckon it will cost them at least 300 Fax fans.

I also don't like it being played on a Friday however you can see why they are doing it . Wakefield have a league match on the Thursday after so by playing the cc game on a Sunday would only give them a short turnaround. Rugby is so physically demanding now days that it does make sense . We all know how tough Easter is and that's only two clear days between games . Although I love two games in such a short period of time is it in the best interest of the players and quality of match ? I don't think so .

Yes your probably right about it being played on a Friday to give more recovery time, but, I understand, Wakefield know they will get a better home attendance on a Friday than on a Sunday.
Don't really think away support will be down by 300 as has been suggested, but, if it is Wakefield will still have a larger gate than they would get on a Sunday.
