If Phil Hassan gets anywhere near this team its an absolute joke. He completely destroyed Robbie Paul when he was at his best, and he was probably the best option we had at that time

He got through a lot of work in defence; just never seemed to be in the right place in attack.

Moxon may not have been the best hooker/half back, but he very rarely missed a tackle unlike some of last seasons players.

I'll never forget the Turkinator's tackling performance against Wigan at there place the night we lost 50-18. Although the scoreline might suggest otherwise, his personal game was faultless.

Glad you agree TS about Moxon , not intended as a dig at ShayFax (The speccies comment ) but it really is a personal choice and certain players tried to the best of their ability in a poor team with a crap coach.

Who was that fella who came from Hull Kr, I think the season Ben Fisher left? He was their captain, and I think he played one game with us and just never made it back into the team..


He had blonde hair, and played at loose if that helps.

How anyone can mention Andrew Frew is beyond me, in a decent team he would have scored 20 tries.

Would only agree with Radney Bowker and Holdstock there. Watto was a very good scrum-half, who was sadly getting on a bit and got a better offer from Leigh in the end. Hadcroft was one of the better players in a week team, scored some good tries and although not the best he certainly wasn't the worst. The Corcoran's did alright, nice to see some local players making their mark with us, shouldn't be classed as the worst in my opinion.

Sorry, Bruno, but IMO you really are taking the wee-wee with this comment. Haddy worked his nads off for Fax. A honest player who gave his all and always stood up to be counted. Don't forget his 2nd try at the relegation play-off; that 'video ref' try that helped spark Fax's revival and, ultimately, our comeback from despair.
