Dont worry Phil our club has been a joke from top to bottom this season. We are in a mess and we can only hope that someone comes in to sort it sooner rather than later.

Third in the table is a disaster. New stand is a disaster. Everything is a disaster man. I'm going to burn everything I have that's blue and white until a magical guardian angel comes along to rescue us from all this disaster.

We've always been atrocious at communication, this is where people jump down my neck!
This is par for the course, but i can safely say that unless theres wholesale changes at the club, the way its run, coached and marketed, I shall be finishing Alfred Wainwrights walks next year instead. Im done with these jokers and the season cant end soon enough... I cant bear to see us in such a state.
What on earth were we doing buying so many old players when we already had our GF box ticked.
Im gonna post some more Terry Jacks soon, but im not sure we had joy or fun from our seasons in the Sun, its becoming a chore, and the constant headlines and dubious progress reports which would have us fifth or 6th if they actually took into account the fact that were 2 SL clubs light in this league and people have games in hand. Were a mess.

Ask Michael Steele if he thinks this season has been a disaster. Im sure he will be diplomatic about it but when another director is going round telling people what a mess we are in its hard to put a good spin on it. Third is ok, with the squad we have you would expect better i feel. NRC, less said the better. CC, well just another basic cock up. As for the new stand, yep it all looks very pretty unfortunatley in their wisdom the club thought the stand been finished would make hundreds of extra people turn up. Its never happened and if the 3000 figure that was mentioned at the begining of the season is correct then its easy to see why there is a shortage of money. Add to that the training facility fiasco at the begining of the season and players slagging the coach off in public and also telling people they havnt been paid and its easy to see that it hasnt been the best.
Best thing that can happen now is us get to the Grand Final and then hope that the fallout dosnt occur till afterwards or lets hope we can get a couple of extra good business men on the board again.

The season as a whole has not been very good but I can easily think of worse season with in the past 10 years! Things are not good but they certainly are not that bad as people want to believe! We have plenty of talent signed up. We have one of the best and most entertaining teams outside SL. We are not in debt and we certainly are not facing administration etc.
For me although there is plenty of negatives this season we are still doing OK and nobody seriously expect us to get in to SL in 2012-although that option is still open. I would like to see changes at Coaching as well as off the field,but I feel there is still much to enjoy and look forward to both this year and next no matter what happens regarding various rumours.

The season hasn't been high fives so far I agree with that. A disaster? A disaster is what happened to Leigh last year. A disaster is what is happening at Whitehaven this year. You people expect too much. You think we are a bigger club than we actually are. You think we're a club that deserves to be better than anyone else? Why? You still think Gartland is running the club? Do you think we can afford professionals in the back office? Get a grip on reality. Lower your expectations - we don't have the financial backing that warrants all of your crap. People make mistakes and we've made a few this year. Move on. With the resources available, I am happy where we are. If you're not, run along to Odsal like the other 4,000 people did and stop bagging those who run the club.
