| I didn't go but kept checking the score updates on the BBC website so when I saw we were winning 16-6 at about 4.30 I thought we'd done it but checked again 10 minutes later and it showed 16-16 with the game still in play. I was gutted as I expected the score to tick up to 18-16 assuming Robinson was lining up a conversation as he never misses. So obviously delighted to see it change to 16-17. Reminds me of getting out of jail in the 2004 relegation play off match against York.
Watched the highlights and Pauli looked a right handful for them. Would love to see a line breaker like that at Fax.

| I thought Sunday was one of our better displays of the season which probably says a lot about our season. A much better defensive attitude and a will to win was enough to beat Donny and for that the players deserve credit. It was probably a good game for the neutral to watch and an exiting end topped off by Woody's winning one pointer. More against Dewsbury next weekend please. Up The Fax!

Pauli seems to divide opinion because he is big but lazy that said used in the right way he can be a handful and we could do with some of that.

We certainly do and it's about getting a balance within your team. You can then justify the Connor Davies types that give you 80 minutes solid hard graft but will never create you anything..

| Hopefully if the rumours about Sebastine Ikahihifo are true could help in the impact department.

| It goes back to the argument we all had about Springer. We are where we are because we lack 1 or 2 quality impact forwards.

| Totally agree no argument at all, if you won’t do what your asked and ask to leave because of it or toss about it training then you won’t play and then go and help yourself then there’s the door whoever you are.
Otherwise where would we be now if those attitudes were allowed to flourish?

| Gwaze and King, another couple of quality forwards who weren't "properly" replaced. Looks like King is injured for the rest of the season for Haven and only managed a few minutes against York, a massive loss for them if he's missing for the remainder.

Never heard of the bad apple and someone causing unrest in the dressing room then?
Ultimately of course players like that are doing more harm than good and deserve what they get and being shown the door is precisely the way to manage them.
Scapegoating players they were all being told and asked to do the same things at the same time by the same people which included more than SG on the coaching side and the others responded.
To start with Springer played every game so how was he “initially” a scapegoat?
To start with Doro didn’t play much because of his attitude so how could he “initially” be contributing more than others?
The line of reasoning for both Springer and Doro sounds more like contradictions are us as does our declining form since SG departed.

| Grix struggled to manage egos and that has continued badly at Hull. All reports about Dorro at Bradford and Springer at Fev seem to suggest the opposite to what we have been told about their behaviour. Its true that us getting rid of them could have given them a boot up the backside but when you hear similar from a number of players, then it could be that Grix simply was not cut out for the role. Like Richard Marshall it could turn out that hs is a fantastic assistant and there is nothing wrong with that at all, horses for courses and all that.

| Regardless, grixs ‘ tenure from 2019-2023 produced a 55.5% win rate , higher than many lauded coaches . Two third place finishes a challenge cup semi final and an 1885 cup success on a third of the budget of many teams. Regardless of players comings and goings for whatever reason he has nothing to prove to fax or doubting fans .
I’m with ben Shapiro ‘ facts don’t care about feelings’

| Isn't it amazing how much insight people who have never done the job and will never be qualified to, who weren't there at the time can make a judgement of someone else who has, is and was be so knowledgeable of what happened?
The fact is you simply do not know and all these alternatives are based on ignorance and minds made up it has to be Grix to blame regardless.
Ignoring everything that others actually saw and have been told from multiple people from within the club won't alter their behaviour and reasons for leaving whilst they were at Fax.
After all we actually know about the state of the game, our club, others clubs to say our current predicament is down to these players leaving just about sums it up.
Our current predicament is down to one main thing which is lack of money but I hope we survive and can get a line busting player or two if we do.
