And as you know apart from share holding and direct cash injections some of those you mentioned have (apparently) been (rumoured) to have provided all fully legal and above board work opportunities to some of the recent signings as part of the deal. |

Which I presume with Holmes to Bradford being a done deal must have been about Cory going back to Sheffield as Codswallop but now as you stated above you understand he is going back ![]()
To clarify. I thought you meant there was logic behind Lilley coming to Fax, that's where my codswallop comment was aimed. It would appear that we both are agreed that this should not and will not happen. To say this is a nothing thread it's done well though.

From a Fax perspective they won't be too interested in his gym business, for every signing it's all about improving on what you currently have and doing a job on the pitch and there are questions marks against him on doing that imho.
The biggest question against the proposed Fax deal you mention is Fax never offer 3 year deals (which would tie up a significant amount of funding) at a time when there is still a lot of uncertainty about the structure of the game and financial distributions especially to a player that will have to prove himself and play well beyond his current form and performance levels and is very likely to be behind JK and LJ and be a third choice sit at home or loanee.
Another point is when I used to have a bit of insider information Fax had a policy of keeping it in house, externally they couldn't stop it but internally they didn't like, condone or sanction leaks, they wanted to be the ones who broke the news at strategic times during the close season to generate interest .
So can I ask is the person / persons who you are getting it from happy with this, do the club know about it and are they happy with it?'"

The 3 year deal blows any credibility of this out of the water for me. I’d say we’d be offering him a 1 year at best and he’d have to prove his fitness so he’d be better off at the Bulls IMHO.

That's the funny thing, its been known for people to directly mislead some so they out themselves in the way that CD has possibly done and now some people are having a good laugh at his expense while all the time keeping the real signings all hush hush. |

It’s just that for example the “game changer” signing post of a couple of weeks back turned out to be Will Calcott, who with the greatest of respect to him and although being a good lad with a bright future wouldn’t really fit that description.
Also a 3 year deal for Lilley doesn’t sound plausible. |
