But it'll still be a substantial part of the household income.
I spoke to a retired player a couple of months ago who was saying that all his adult life he'd had two jobs and had lived very well. Suddenly he had one and found things difficult.
The fact is most folk live up to their incomes.
However - whether it's their main source or not - people are entitled to do the best deal they can for their families.

| Empathy for anyone who looses their income, it has happened to me in the past, through no fault of my own I was made redundant, just like millions of others have been.
YEs you feel like the worst kind of man, cannot provide for your family.
As a professional Rugby player the job pool is very limited, but life is not fair and throws these things at you, like ooo's of others I had to retrain to find employment.
So hooligan 27 stop feeling sorry for one man, he was lucky and got to carry on doing the thing he likes. It would not have been the end of the world if he had to relocate to secure employment, again like several million others in this world have done.

Did you find that clubs were loyal to you ?
Or, if they got somebody better, did they hand you your cards ?
It's a two way thing.

| Unless the Club finish in the top four then RM has been told he will have a smaller budget next season than this season.
As some players are already on two season contracts and unless the Club once again asks them to reduce salary, this would mean that we will probably end up with a few old hands but a lot of younger blood. This means that lots of our players will already be looking around.
I will be interested to see how Mark Moore explain this and then creates enthusiasm to buy season tickets.

| I suppose it comes down to what has been said dozens of times, you have to speculate to accumulate but who is going to throw large amounts of money into a Championship club with no chance of ever getting your money back or at least breaking even.
Only Deggys has done so and pulled it off but even he has come to realise that as soon as the winning stops the crowds drop significantly and he has to put up the shortfall.
If you ask me Rugby League is a right mugs game for the owners.
They keep putting in thousands, tens of thousands or even millions regardless but supporters can at anytime stop putting there £20 when things get tough and it will be the BOD's fault.
Fax will just keep cutting their cloth accordingly and end up where they end up, I can't see how they can do anything else.

| Looking at Salfords crowd last night and Leighs against Wigan last week you wonder why Beaumont/Koucash bother.
