| The thing that struck me (having seen both sessions) was the speed with which they move the ball. They've got players that are not only strong powerful and fast, but also have that extra yard in the head.
Somebody would have to catch them on a horrendous off day to get anywhere near to them imo
Scores IIRC: 1st match Fax 2-3 Toronto, 2nd match Fax 0-Toronto 4/5

Thanks for that, is that just in tries scored, and over what period - 40 mins each time?
They are evens to go unbeaten all season and although that type of bet is normally the muggiest of mug bets - you just think of a wet day in Cumbria - it's probably not as terrible a price as these "unbeaten" bets usually are. Certainly more realistic than Hull KR going unbeaten in the Championship, as some of their fans seem to think will happen.

| Quote: The Phantom Horseman "Who would they have signed for though? Most of the ones who are higher-end Championships players/lower-end SL players have gone; and most of the Championship clubs have either got their squads sorted or haven't got any money to sign reasonable-quality players. For the players left, their best option was probably to stick around and wait; as you say, Bradford might end up with a reasonable squad anyway.'"
Moss gone and Chisholme soon to go.
There are about 12 players left so yes, they do have a fantastic squad. Every decent player gone now since end of season - about 15 of them mostly to SL, Toronto and London.
Every Bulls fan wanted to be dropped into CH.1 to start again but it was the RFL who decided on this stupid idea of them staying in the Championship.

| The new owner must have produced a Plan that would be viable, so I would assume that would include expenditure or a squad to keep them up.
The fact they don't have players now is a handicap but they can avoid DR by using long term loan so it...as awaits...will be down to money.

It really does make you wonder what sort of due diligence process the RFL actually have.

Not what they've said, sounds like it might be a mixture of full and part time, who knows though with the Bulls. Already short of money apparently so that's a good start.

| We’ll be making up the numbers for most of this year. Whether we make the effort to stay up isn’t yet clear. If we make it to 2018 to compete in the bottom division we’ll have done better than I expect.
Think we’ll be part time, I don’t believe the press release.

We've only been to Odsal once lately due to their inflated admission prices 'got in as concessions ' but they won't be getting any more brass off me. Our club are doing things the right way, mostly, and they expect the fans to pay for them to be full time. I don't think so. Still f/t, the same ground(paid for), even the same name so we're led to believe! It really is beyond a joke. You just couldn't write it.

Interesting to see today that Sheffield have announced the signing of Dane Chisholm, whom the Bradford Fans felt was a real star for them the 2nd half of last year. Link here: sheffieldeagles.com/News/Article/48195

Thought Sheffield were nearly on the brink after last season as well.? (Griff?)
Looks like Fev and Batley have bought wisely with that extra money.
Not sure how Bradford and The Seagulls are managing to recruit with no brass though?
Dave are you coming over on Sunday?

Sounds like the eagles have found some money again because I doubt Chiswell is part time.
I reckon it's back to being a decent team again after the mess of last season
