No less than SIX Halifax lads in Bradford's 19 man squad for today's game at Wigan, Adam Brook & Sam Bates in line to debut along with Adam O' Brien, Sam Wood, Ollie Roberts & Alex Mellor.
Whatever anyone else's thought's on this financial siutation are, local lads are getting SL experience & good luck to them, I hope we get to see some of them wearing Halifax colours someday. I'm sure Shaun Wane will use this as an opportunity to "rotate" some of his own squad today.

Even though Wigan are rotating it should be a hiding for the Bradford team and Im not sure that does the yound lads many favors at all, playing SL when its very unlikely they are anywhere near ready.
Its a total difference to Wigan where they have the luxury of adding in a few young lads to a top quality set of players, Bradford are adding yound lads to a set of players half of them who would struggle to do a good job at a top end Championship team.

Bradford have to do all they can now to keep people coming through the gates even though they will only likely win maybe 1 or 2 games the rest of the season.

A while before the points deduction (2nd Feb to be exact), I mailed the RFL to the effect that a drop in competition level for the Bulls was the best/right option for them and for the game. Not surprisingly, I didn't get a reply, but.....
