Yes - I agree with Mr Steele that nothing's been agreed. Except, of course that Mr Steele and I agree.
Look - this isn't as big an issue as you're making it. I'm just saying that it's not a good idea to say "Yay !! these new leagues will be fantastic!! Let's vote yes, yes, yes!!" before finding out what the financial arrangements will be.
If you disagree with that, fine. But don't complain if it turns out to be not as good as you thought. |

Maybe an important point concerning the money is being overlooked.
It is not automatically neccessary that you would have to sign someone better than the club allready has onboard.
Why not.
Part of the solution would have to do with make their current playing staff FULLTIME players as opposed to partime.
This would allow them to reach their full potential and quite a few of them would make the grade.
This would be where some of the extra money would have to go.
Anyone training and living in a fulltime enviroment must get better and would increase the number of quality players across the comp, contary to the view that standards would drop drastically in a reasonably short period of time the opposite would happen.
Even distribution of funding allowing more to go fulltime is key to resolving a number of issues.

So .... would you give up your job for 14 weeks employment at a rugby league club with no guarantee of a full time job beyond that ?
Not being argumentative here - but these are the things players have to consider.

Are not these the things full time players at every club currently and going back as far as you can think have allready considered?
If it was such a problem then there would hardly have been any full time players outside the top earners ever.
The alternative is to ask part timers to play regularly against full timers, how would that work out results wise in the long run. |

Being offered a contract for a couple of years and being offered one for 14 weeks are totally different animals.
Jobs not easy to come by round here. Is Halifax any better ?  |

Start a new thread and put some positive sugestions in place that you feel will will work instead of waiting for someone else to comment and then just finding fault with what they say.
Have you ever come up with an answer or is it nothing will work. 
If so what is it and why will it work.
This is your big chance to drag the game from the mire.

You are making it up again, where do you get these additions from and them apply them to others.
To have any meaningfull conversation you have to be able to look beyond the obvious and not ask if someone is refering to something that is ridiculous in the first place eg: phase 1 division 2 full time ![]()
You've obviously not thought anything through.
Solution? See above - Sort the finances first, not as an afterthought.
