| Well as already said they are allowed to go out.
The fact is we have had all this he said she said drinking talk in previous seasons. I'm not saying its not true however the club clearly don't have a problem with it or they would have done something about it...which probably means the behaviour is classed as acceptable based on the terms of their contracts.
The other point is the players will do what they like anyway, if they don't want to be seen then they will go out in london or somewhere else, so what we need to be doing is creating responsible hard working players that are also allowed to enjoy their time off as well. I hope that the players want to get something out of this season as much aswe do, for personal pride, for the club, for us, and for their future careers.

I have heard that the Blackpool trip was a mass p*ss up which is not acceptable, they were playing in a tournament.
Mr Clay - get it sorted, you are the CEO we need a more professional club as 'the drinking club' may have worked for a while but it aint working now, we are getting caught out.
The Coach should lead by example, and that does not mean how much he can drink.

| You need to sack Calland and re-instate Hall as head coach immediately.
Calland sounds to be a similar character to a recent former Batley coach who was more concerned about who was buying the first round after the match than the acual match itself.
Ok, maybe the socialising situation was the same at the start of the season when you were successful, but believe me it can only carry on for so long before it starts to affect performances in a big way.
A coach should be someone who acts professionally and keeps a distance from the players to maintain an authority and respect, not someone who joins in with the drinking games.
Get rid of Calland the buffoon before he starts to drag your club down.

| maybe the drinking thing is a bit over the top, but do we really know compared to other clubs. Lets face it we are talking about part time players with other jobs - working class lads who like any other like a good beer or 2. If we try to stop this, do they resort to other forms of "relaxation" - think about the no of players in both codes found using other substances recently.
As longs as it is not ott then fair enough. I heard that in the World Cup, england were laughing stock, cos whislt Aussies and Kiwis were out bonding having a beer after a hard raining session or game, we were at organised tea parties. And a recent aussie coach at Leeds insisted on his players going to the bar after training or match nights otherwise they could kiss their payslip goodbye.
These lads ave got to have a life, bond with each other. But the balance has to be right, the coach has to command the dressing room.
I am more worried that our tactics are not up to it. Teams have worked us out and we have no answers, yes we have individual skills that when things go right we can blow teams apart but this alone is not good enough to wins games over 80 mins.

| Let's not forget, at Blackpool we only lost one game - and that was the very first one against Featherstone. Fax won 3 out of 3 games on the Sunday.

What I will tell you is that it was one of your backs. its difficult to name names without concrete proof (ie the actual pic still available) but it is common knowledge most of your lot were out on the p*ss in Blackpool on the Saturday (as were most other teams im sure) '"
This is true, I was stood next to the Leigh players/coaches in one place and it wasn't early on. Needless to say Leigh were tonked in their match the next day.

| Ive read a lot of the posts on here and i dont really know what to think. Fair enough...they are professional sportsmen or at worst semi professional and rightly so i believe they have the clubs reputation to consider, but its wrong to assume that these lads cant let their hair down from time to time IMO.
