Ok yes, Barrows success has been built on partially investment, no barrow fan is denying that? it seems to me a small majority of the fax fans believe us, the barrow fans, cant see this? of course we have invested! at the end of the day a club we have high ambitions needs to start somewhere, surely. What we are trying to put across is how much local talent is present in the team or has been in the team before the johnston investment of recent years; Harrison, Nixon, Broadbent, MacDermott, Ostler, Finch, Holt, Mossop, Ellis, and Dave Clarke himself! Were all involved at Barrow before the investment of recent years or are local. I hope you can somehow rest your grudge against us and focus your attention to your match with featherstone

Not quite. I can assure you the quality of the 1st team is excellent and players will be well paid. Without discrediting the reserves, I would be inclined to say they are not very well paid and will all work full-time. Most of them play because they enjoy it, not for the money. Like I said earlier it interests me how you know so much about another Clubs finances etc......or should I say don't know. I was unclear when I said the page is out of date - What I meant was some players appearing on it have left but have not been removed from the page. Im not the website admin so cannot explain why but it really isn't that important.


I am more than confident that when the RFL auditors do turn up we will be under the Cap and that is all I have to say on the matter. If you wish to trawl through articles on the t'internet in aid of some obsession then continue but frankly I find it rather amusing and it reeks of bitterness - Enjoy your off season Pepe, some of us have a Grand Final to get ready for
