Fax have a very talented player in RCS,he will raise a few eyebrows

Looks very quick viewing that, but in our league he needs to be able to do his bit leading out of defence and also be able to tackle. Looks a good prospect, but can he stop tries as much as he can score them?

Another good signing in Liam Cooper for the season, only 1 of the loan lads that actually looked the part. Another along with RCS that could be make or break season and good to be at the front of the line if no SL team wants to take a chance on them.

After a very slow start I think our recruitment has been very good this season and where as in the past we have brought players in to pad the squad this season feels like we have brought players in who can improve the squad. I think Id still like another centre but fingers crossed JWH will have a good run with injuries and will make the spot his own.

Cooper played in more games than Baldwinson. I always think there has to be a reason a player who looks the part gets passed from pillar to post and for me Baldwinson flatters to decieve but he is still only very young for a prop. Then theres always a reason why a champion team does not want to release a player like Cooper when he has not quite broken through yet even though he is at an age where its probably expected to have already happened. Cooper will have a better career in the game than Baldwinson in my opinion.

I agree with Beaujangles regarding Cooper. I think he'll have to show a lot more than he did at the end of last season to improve the squad. He's only young though so let's see how he goes. Up The Fax!

Is this signing in place of Larroyer? or do we still have a bit more quality to come.

Cooper for me was technically very correct in his play but for me failed to have an impact on any of the games I watched him . Pace average power probably slightly under average. Needs to go up a gear for me but can also see why he ticks the box for RM to coach , one thing is for sure with the squad at his disposal plus the reserves RM has absolutely no excuses not to get the tyres on the Tarmac from the off this season. If some of the established crew are not fit at the start then simple don't play them and make them get fit to get their place back.
