Scary today...Fax made 'hardly any' mistakes, if we'd have lost....no complaints.

4th place is still wide open, but we have to beat London, Fev and Dewsbury. 3 more losses (Bradford twice and Sheffield) and it's still not a lost cause.

Cracking game today, just thought we could have played a bit cleverer in the last few minutes when it was 10 v 10. The game really could have gone either way.

Not sure how the ref worked out who to send off in the melee, but it did seem a bit strange for us to have three off vs two for Leigh and still get the penalty?

Btw, not sure on what planet it's ok for a player to walk down the touchline spitting at the crowd?

Not sure what went on in the melee,not close enough. Don't like to comment on refs but he needs to go back to ref school absolutely terrible. Who spat at the crowd? Most of the interchanges happen in front of me and I didn't see that happen.

Not much Charlie can say which is unusual,Fax did what I expected played the game in the Forwards , slowed the game down at times,and tried and succeed in making a Physical game , and as I said previous Leigh accommodated them.

I didn't think Leigh played that we'll ,though I thought Ben Reynolds had a decent game,Fax had the usual suspects trying anything Bracek, Manning and Tyrer,when Bracek came on just before the Brawl ,big Sam Barlow kept away from it ,only to be clotted by Bracek, Acton deserved to be sent off as he seem to be lining up Fax players like ducks with his fingers,the incident wasn't good ,at one point 10 men on both sides.

Back to the game ,Fax scored 2 tries from lucky bounces , Leigh scored one from the same fashion,Fax are a hard side as I predicted ,but WONT make the top 4 ,it was good to Hudd-Shay and Diane ,and Bentleyman for a chat,always good pity I missed Halifaxjohn maybe see you at Blackpool John?I will be cheering for Fax there but can't see you beating Bradford,the result I thought Leigh deserved to Win just though I suppose I would,24 wins on the trot now ,I think.Charlie knew though I admit I WAS worried.

Fully agreed, especially after Brackek started it all by punching Haggerty on the floor, after he tackled him. But it should have been a Leigh penalty.

It was our old friend Mr Barlow. Start of the second half. Not even sure why he walked down the touchline given he wasn't taking to the field. Given the walkway at the front of the stand, none of his spittle actually hit anyone, but any normal player would clear his mouth away from the crowd - and not need to repeat the process three times either.

The match turned out not to be a fitting tribute to Danny, Acton deserved to walk, Manning the thug got a few punches in then ran to hide, Bracek it was who started the late brawl by punching Haggerty on the floor ,I'm really glad He changed His mind about signing for us

I might be wrong - I was at the other end of the ground - but I thought it kicked off after Cahalane tackled one of the Leigh players (couldn't see who), who obviously took exception to something and threw a punch. Hence the Fax penalty. Not saying Bracek didn't hit Haggerty on the floor, just didn't think he was the one in the original tackle. No doubt Centurions TV will reveal all.

We shouldn't have been dragged down to their level and instead should have worked on exploiting the gaps when they were a man down for a disgusting headbutt.

Whoever it was that tackled Haggerty gave him a smack in the tackle, that is what started it. Haggerty completely lost the plot though after that so not defending him. Usual culprits from both sides were involved all game. Acton and Barlow for us and Bracek, Manning and Tyrer for you lot.

Expect we will both be missing a few at the Summer Bash
