In answer to your question, well lets see back to back Grand Finals with one Championship Medal so I guess he must be doing something right. You being a student of the game will however know this.

On the subject of Calland saying the "cheat" word. I heard the interviews by both Karl and Matt. Yes Matt did say that Halifax concentrate on winning the tackle instead of trying to grab hold of arms, legs and wrestle and cheating. However I did also hear Karl say that he was trying to get Moore on at the end of the game to take the kick. He said he knew that it was not allowed but was trying to do it anyway. Dare I say he was trying to cheat????

Mr Carrot. I dont mind who stopped Moore coming on. If the ref was going to allow it, that would just add fuel to those who think that he was giving everything to Batley. My point was that Karl knew he couldnt put him on, but tried anyway (hey I am not saying that we are whiter than white, its just a comment on the situation)

I also dont have a real issue with Batley trying to slow the play of the ball down, the issue, as always, is inconsistant refereeing, again it was just a comment about what Calland said.

By all accounts Mr Schofield was also a little bit vocal about the refereeing this weekend????

We have to really just put this behind us, move on to Whitehaven and do the business. We will have better games this season and we will have more frustrating games, thats the nature of this sport, and probably what keeps us coming back week after week

Was the ref biased or just not very good? Losing teams always say biased. Did Barrow lose? Yes - Ref's fault..

Fans of losing teams are always quick to play the blame game instead of looking at their own performance. Was the preperation suitable? Were the tactics right? Did players just have an off day? Was anyone carrying a knock? Or was the opposition just that bit better on the day? etc... Am sure the Fax camp looking back at the video this week won't be looking at referee decisions but our own failings..

Forget the refs decsion at the end, we should not have been in that position.Pathetic first 40 was improved on by half decent second 40 but we should still have done better.
Wingers - why the hell did you keep running towards touch when surrounded by 4 Batley players? Their chase game was excellent yesterday but we did not help ourselves.

Had it not been for the pen at the end we would all be talking about what an amazing fightback it was.
