Maybe this will ease everybodies fears over why Branighan has not been offered a contract by the board for next season. 2 year contracts suprisingly last for 2 years and you can see by the articles date that he's nearing the end of his 1st year which means he has 1 year left !!! Therefore, no need to offer another contract for next season.
The same applies for Penky (Sure the annual Leigh rumour will surface again), Black and Worrincy amongst others'"
He has been told by the club that he should look elsewhere as there is no money left. his exact words to me
"mate club told me to look elsewhere as they dont have any money,seen them a few times but get same answer,dissaponting but i suppose at least there up front with me,"
This was on the 17th of august, He may be holding out, however the 2 year deals mean nothing for the player if they cant pay the wage. |
