however as a loyal fax fan, i want us to win ever game we turn out for, pride passion, glory

I seem to recall one at Doncaster in the 70s. Game snowed off after about 70 mins with the score 0.0.

.... and we won the replay 4-3 IIRC with TA diving in after a grubber kick from Keith Neller! Am I correct or is it my Alzheimers again?

true, you can see it still on youtube. Gary Pearce, a fat little Welsh stand off scored their points & think he just missed with a kick in the last few mins that would have won it. Also their scrum half, Kevin Dick had a try chalked off for them due to a forward pass (he dropped the ball over the line anyway if remember correctly)

I was in the end where TA scored, what a game, what a crowd reaction. 25,000 people there for a reply 4 days after the 1st game. Wouldnt (& cant) happen now a days.

A bit of a wobble just before half time which gives us some doubt, but a win in the 2nd half to Fax.
