coming over last Friday to sign, so forget all the
bo**ocks about signing for you lot for less money.
As for Branighan, forget what's in the papers, his name
was told to me by the man who should know, who has since
had a discussion with the player, on September 26th 2010.

Unlucky !!! Pen on paper is what counts in this game, The lure of a Championship winning side and a Proven coach and club is what will have edged it for him.
As for Branno, If you wanna pay top dollar and use a big chunk of Salary cap then go for it, Hope he does well for you, I think he is a awesome player but asking for SL money to play in Championship aint feasable. Also your coach was on radio saying he was out of your price range, Who knows more you man in the know or the coach ?. Unless he is a Liar !. |

To be honest Ryan is based in Lancashire somewhere around Oldham I think he`s hardly going to want to trail over to York for similar money when we are so much closer. |

We didnt breach the salary cap. We had players already signed up on two year deals based on 400k to spend, then the RFL changed the goal posts again.

Though you also said only spent 250k year before so that's some mega rises! Also what's the craic with new signings on that basis? Halifax were clever and fair play as you signed up all star players when cap cut was on the agenda just not finalised! |
