Excuse my ignorance, but why are the LS28 group called LS28, and if it is anything to do with a Leeds post code, why are they supporting Fax? Also are the noisey fans "existing" fans who have all of a sudden found their voice? What's going on?

Jamie, who started the group and got a few of his mates involved, lives at Pudsey hence the LS28. We now have a Player and Promo fund where people have set up standing orders for a monthly donation of whatever they can afford from a fiver to much larger amounts. So far we are rapidly heading towards 100 members/contributors and more people are joining every day! We are also getting large one off contributions from individuals and businesses who want to become involved.

We helped finance the QLT signing and now that he's gone have made the club aware that the money is available to aid future signings.
The sleeping giant has awakened and if you haven't yet got involved, why not? |

Thanks for that Fax Machine, and I agree they're doing a great job in revitalising the atmos. As an ex Scratching Shedder who remembers some great atmospheric matches (Allan Langer (Ozzie tourist) said Thrum Hall was one of the best atmos he had played in) it'll be great if we can rekindle the same enthusiasm at the Shay / away matches.

The atmosphere at Batley was unbelievable! Fax fans were there in much greater numbers than previous games and made a lot of noise all the way through.
LS28 has also hired 3 luxury coaches to take fans FREE OF CHARGE to the London away game next month as we want to get as many people there supporting Fax as possible. LS28 subscribers obviously take priority but after that seats are open to all.

| Just come back from my Bank having had my second mortgage signed off so I can afford two tickets for Sunday!!!!!! Must be on some blummin big wages across there Charlie C?
Massive game for you boys on Sunday. For us we are just little old Halifax on the lowest salary level in the top 4 having a nose bleed at being third in the league and mustering more than 150 supporters to come across the Pennines. Am I right in saying your parachute payment was far greater than what we are spending this year on our squad(£500k v £350k allegedly?) That's without Degsy's money? 
Look forward to catching up Sunday win lose or draw. |

Dave, I always thought you was a man of many means, much wealthier than us mere Clowns.
As for big wages?I'm not sure what our players are on,though it won't be peanuts . I've already stated it's a Muck or Bullets situation for us on Sunday, I'm not even contemplating a loss , it's unthinkable,I will be singing either Tears of a Clown, or Ha Ha said the Clown,and I'm a Manfreds fan.
