Sorry to see him go as he's a top bloke but unfortunatley for whatever reason he has struggled to put in the minutes that are now required off a prop forward and with us bringing in 3 big forwards who are all capable of doing 60 minutes or more there was never going to be a place for him in the clubs plans.

Tonka is one of many Fax players that suffered from Harrison's coaching style. To play Tonks from the start of the match is just stupid. The game is too fast for him in the first 20 mins and he hardly touched the ball. He looked a lot more dangerous these last few games playing from the bench, running at trying defences

Bit far on the Fax Facebook page calling the guy a Fax Legend. Really? Solid enough player but never did enough minutes for me and not a patch on his Fev days for us.

Not even a shadow of the player he was at Fev which is a massive shame because he used to dominate us whenever he played.

If you play in 10-15 minute spells you've got to have an impact, unfortunately it seems that in too many of those he didn't have that.

Tonka is a good Player but sadly he was not used and treated right by Karl IMHO. He had come back from a bad injury and no doubt a bit unfit and maybe mentally a bit down when we signed him. I think he is better off the bench and used in 20 Minute passages, rather than playing from the off. I think he needed somebody to give him confidence and for the ballplayers to give him good quick balls to run on too.But we changed the ball Players around every couple of games and there was no understanding built between the Forwards and backs. With the Team seemingly having no belief and confidence in Karl, its no wonder Tonka and others have just drifted along. I believe Tonka will go away and be a far better Player, than what he was at Fax and that goes for others as well. Karl didnt seem to understand how to not just help the Team, but have the man Management and technical side to improve them as individuals. For me, a Coach is more than just signing a Group of Players and sticking them out there with your plans. You Need to get Players Feeling comfortable and make them understand what is required of them and help them see where to improve and what they Need to do. I just never really saw that in Karl. He seemed to just drop Players for no reason and come across as an abrupt Person who you dont mess with. A Coach nowadays Needs to be often more like a Parent, rather than just do this and do that and then make excuses when it doesnt work.

I've seen the fax legend comments on facebook & feel it's actually rather disrespectful to the real fax legends. Great player, seems a decent bloke, but a legend is abit far...

Tonks is not a patch on Ambler I'm afraid when i've watched, which has not been much this season.

Legend ? who the heck came up with that ? great player is going too far how about disappointment.Maybe if Harrison had made him get fit...

Possibly a Fev legend but a long way off being a Fax legend and that is not disrespecting Tonka, he just never hit the same levels for us and didn't have long enough at the club to move up to the legend status.
Let's save the legend status for those who really earn it and deserve it.
