Listen this is an old chestnut, my definition of RL town is one where the game is played and watched by a large proportion of the population. Football will always be number one (cos in England it is our national game and gets most coverage on TV and in the papers) but RL is a close second in Halifax imo.
So by that it is a stronghold of RL = RL Town.

hope town win and also think it will be a crowd of around the 4000 mark.

Was going to go down but not been able to make it in the end I wish Town all the best as I always want them to do well. Come on Town get to the 3rd round proper of the FA Cup and draw Leeds at home after beating Bradford and Huddesfield in rounds 1 and 2 you wont beat Super Leeds though

Was at the game as a Loyal halifax town fan of 17 years. support rugby too

there class showed in the first half, we couldnt get near them for most of the half. we made a mistake they scored, suppose thats the difference, in a league game if we had made that mistake we would have got away with it.

good attendance, good atmosphere.

we showed we can play against these type of sides though and promotion this season should be easy for us. plus we still have the longest unbeaten home league run of any side i know anyway. which currently stands at 600 days and counting.

missing the shay football and rugby double headers on saturdays and sundays. sundays are so boring without the fax to go and watch
