I wasn't there but from what I can gather when Leigh played at the Shay (which I was at) bothe Fax fans and coach were upset at Leigh's tactics but seem to have gone to the LSV last night and used those same tactics. From what sounded to be a great game seems to have been marred by the Manning/Barlow incident and if Manning's challenge was as bad as it sounds then I hope he receives the correct punishment, but let's not resort to calling each clubs and respective fans Scumbags and the like. Both teams have got into each other over the two games and are both as bad as each other with the niggly stuff but I've always known Leigh and Fax fans be friendly with each other and don't want to see it go down the old Fev Fax route when those fans used to be at each others neck. I'm glad Sam Barlow is okay and whatever happens with manning happens, let's move on and accept Leigh are the better team ( ) and Fax need to improve.

As a side note, I believe Leigh would be in the challenge cup semis if they had played Bradford at the weekend.

Alifax , you don't me , as I ALWAYS say what I think ,and don't pussyfoot around anyone ,I have said I disagree with Peawaaps opinion on Fax fans ,in no way to avoid upsetting anyone ,I met BOTH Halifaxjohn and Bentleyman last night before the game and we discussed the game , what I don't do is name calling or insults , its not me , but I always call a spade a spade .

As for where you will finish , im a realist again 3rd spot if you change those tactics is now best you can hope for , as for Leigh the League Leaders Shield is OURS Charlie knows . .

Here's my take on it. Barlow passes the ball and carries on running, Manning stands his ground and hits out. Late? Yes. High? Probably, premeditated attack on a player in order to do him damage (as suggested by Dorris Stokes) never.

Leigh players run in and obviously something is said for him to react like that. Oh by the way. Only the thugs from Halifax were punching..... Yeh right.

Ok, I haven't seen the rest of the game, but someone from Leigh suggested that the beating up of Barlow was what caused the whole melee, I would suggest that if Leigh players hadn't run in , it would have ended with being put on report.

I don't condone anything and the disciplinary committee will deal with it, but after reading some of the tripe spouted on here , by some Leigh fans, I did expect to see something worse.

At least it was part of the tackle, unlike Barlow headbutting Potts?

Rich I have to agree with this post , your remark was not nice , and I know how passionate and Strong your feelings about Fax are , but these words are not needed .
I know you are an intelligent bloke and we all say things we don't mean , being honest there wasn't much between the teams last night , but if a FRESH Leigh Centurions team played Fax in 10 games over a 10 week period the Centurions would win 9/10 no doubt .You have some decent players but to sum up .

All of a sudden they're world beaters and their fans are now the doyens of all things Rugby League! Hats off to the Leigh team and what they've achieved is fantastic - I totally get that and I doff my cap but some of their idiotic fans are behaving like the fans of their parent club. Looking forward to seeing the Leigh walk when they lose a couple.
