Get real?I sometimes wonder I really do.That performance was crap it really was. This is a time when a coaches ability is really tested and so far Calland is looking like coming up short by a country mile.

We really need to keep our expectations in check.

People have far to easy forgotten the days when we thought finishing 5th was a good season. Calland is the man responsible for getting us to a position where we are challenging for the top. If you cant see that and really want him to go then you need to take your head out of the sand.

Calland has signed a 2 yr deal - HE'S GOING NOWHERE.

Indeed. Always looked like scoring when you got into our twenty. We on the other and didn't have a clue near the line. Haven slam Halifax yet again. I find that irksome to say the least.

The real season starts on Thursday, if they are as good as they (thought) they were they should turn up this time round. If we get well beat which is actually what quite a few would expect now then we might as well call quits to this season. yet again our lacksadase aproach to the first half killed us. Haven players put a hell of a lot into that half also but they were dead at the end holes were opening all over the place. 80 mins Calland lad, they need a leader and a decent prop.

Good post, some of our fans expectations are also artificially high.
We nearly went to the wall financially, are rebuilding with a young squad compared to last years.
Our league is the most competetive and exctiting in semi pro RL.
But what a final 3 weeks its going to be.

As an exciting league - it's ahead of Super League in my opinion.

i do think someof us have gone overboard today esp in the knocking of penky; yes he did knock on at the play the ball 3 times , but did people see the reaction of penky when fax gave away one of their tries - he was fuming and shouting at his teammates - he is very passionate about this team and interesting enough at the end when we were scoring at will , he was involved much more at the play the ball and generally causing trouble.I also thought Govin coming off the bench at 6 makes a difference.But on a minus side , did we come back so strongly because of our play or did haven click off after thinking the game was won.The injury to haley at the end will make life even more difficult for us.I presume eith roberts or bowman will go to centre unless they take a punt on charlesworth.
