It probably says a lot about our performance. Our whole pre-season seemed lacklustre and we seem to be off the pace but when we wanted to turn it on against a solid Leigh team we were able to blow them off the park and put the game to bed in a 20 minute or so spell enough so that we could take two of our main players off. It is hard to get away from the fact that given both teams pre-seasons this was a game that most Fax fans had down as a easy win up until last week. On the plus side for us we have a number of good first teamers to come back in to the team so in that respect we should improve but we will get a much tougher test in a couple of weeks time against Fev who look to have put together a team that should easily be around the top 4 in the league.

We won't be the last team stuffed by Widnes this season, they look like they actually could challenge Toronto for that top spot. As for Toulouse, maybe last season they peaked.

No one as mentioned the attack yet.

We seem to be playing more fluent the ball is going out wide to the centre and winger more. Not sure who ws responsible for it but better than the boring 1 up rugby we have had to endure. I think White could also prove a good signing looks to be working well but where does that leave Johnno

Really impressed by Ben White - think Johnston could struggle to get back in the team. Some of the kicks and passes were excellent, and the decision to take a DG was a good one at the time.
