In the near future I can see the top 10 SL clubs breaking away anyway.
What the Championship needs is there own TV deal NOT to be shown on a Thursday night !

Only knock out matches should be shown live, NRC or play off matches only, league matches should be featured in a highlights/review/preview Boots n All type show ( produced by the clubs themselves if neccessary ) idealy on FTA Tv that could sell sponsoship or arvertising a la Irn Bru with SL |

Brilliant system eh? I think licensing, if administered correctly and being in place for correct and sporting reasons would be great.

You joking right? Franchising will always be open to interpretation and consequently being manipulated to suit those who are the judge and juries of it, as we know they slated our application or allowed it to be publicly ridiculed but how can anybody prove anything either way when its all cloak and dagger stuff?
Franchising lends itself to favouritism and corruption. Can't wait for the day it is binned. |

I'm with you on this. Personally I think what rugby league needs is a fans show on TV in the image of soccer am. Without punters, you've got problems. take all the great conversations that fans are having in bars and car parks all over the land and put that into the public eye at a reasonable hour and let the game sell itself |

I would love to see a footy show sort of show where you can see players personalities come through and see what they are really like in person instead of the boring post match interviews where they are basically told what to say.
