That was a ferocious game both teams hit hard and it was played at a very fast pace, Sheffield are a good team and will for me be right up with us and Fev but we withstood a barrage at our line and after Brambani got sin binned ran away with it.
Our defence was very good but it was out attack on the fringes that caught my eye, Sheffield struggled to cope with that.
They got back into it by the Ref given ball stelas when they had lost the ball, in a tight game (at the time) posession was everything.
Penky was on fire, manning was superb and all the lads did well, great effort guys keep it going.

We are looking pretty darn good arnt we? The best thing about it is that we are still going to get even better as the players get to know each other more. What about that defence, at times it was just brillaint with some great last ditch efforts and the players working really hard for each other.

Those who think Harrison would take the edge off our attack while improving the defence, still think that? For me we look just as good in attack, if not better, than we have over recent seasons. Personally i think if Hwer had of figured out the offside rule we would of dominated the game before the final 20 anyway. Its still early days though but things are looking promising and thats 3 points we got that a lot of other teams wont get.

Was going nuts about the sin binning. Barking up the wrong tree if you ask me as there was no doubt at all about it, and his anger should have been directed at his own player's stupidity instead of the referee.

Karl has put together a squad that can play different ways against different sides according to the tactics required and as previous posters have said one that ought to get better as the season goes on

In Astons defence he did start by saying the best team won. He then managed to forget that thirty seconds later tho. When he questioned what brambarni was supposed to do when charging down a kick you could see him get rattled and that's when he started digging a hole for himself, again. Maybe what you should do when charging down a kick is get the ball, if its gone and you're committed then don't decide to raise your hands to the guys head and bitch slap him a bit.
