I would like to wish Dave a speedy recovery, and hope this matter is sorted out very quickly, i saw him laid on the floor as our coach was leaving the car park, a sad end to the day.

Dave all our thoughts are with you and your family hope you make a full recovery, and the thug responsible is brought to justice! I find it hard to understand why the coach park was not policed after the trouble that some of the featherstone fans had caused before and during the game?

as said on widnes forum my mate told me he found a video on youtube which has since been taken off and it shows the attack on dave he has sent the link on to the cops this morning and thats all he told me

No real change in Daves conditon but did havr couple more ops due to blood clots.A family friend is with his patents at the hospital.Spoke to Richard Lewis and he is making personal contact with Daves parents.

Really hope he pulls through, and that they catch whoever did this can safely say its not a nice feeling been a fev fan when things like this happen.

Yep same here, poor lad had one of the best days of his life ruined but hopefully he will pull through and can then start to celebrate with the rest of us.

Spoke to Daves dad today.Still to early to say extent of injuries and still in a coma.They will look to awake him soon.But its a delicate process.The family wish to thank everybody for the kind words and thoughts.The family do not want to make a big thing about what happened or people to think bad of Featherstone or its fans.

I will keep saying my prayers for him mate.
