Stick to your gameplan and we cannot cope with it, Fev had a tight defence and we were clueless.

Barrow, Leigh, Dewsbury, Sheffield they were all organised - and we beat them - We didnt perform today - we got the bonus point we didnt really deserve. Its not the end of the world and there is plenty of rugby still to be played.

Don't agree that Leigh were organised but the others maybe, thing is man for man we have a much better squad than those clubs except Barrow yet at times we struggled.

once players out on the pitch it is hard to coach them into not giving penalties or dropping ball etc.

tackling is great but will need to improve (that will be the same old quote we see in the courier ) calland out asnt improved the team . michael steele ad the chance to sack him. after his mate martin hall took the fall for him has steele got the balls to sack him. mikali aszue shouldnt be in the side .. ostrich head in the sand moment. rubbish.

Should have had the weekend off last week, rather than opting to play Dewsbury. Another bullet to the head of Halifax RLFC.

Methinks this club is in big trouble financially , and the directors, coaching staff and certain players know this. Only a Grand Final win will keep the club going at this level (top 3 side). This will put too much pressure on the team and they will bomb it when it really matters (as per usual).

If our big name players move on, I can't see Calland getting the best out of an average team. Expect a return to the Faz years.

Attendances aren't increasing neither because when a stayaway fan turns up for a big game, they get disappointed YET AGAIN.

Admission prices must be reduced to reflect the quality of Rugby League on show. £18 to sit is quite frankly proposterous.

As an ambassador of the club I work for & love, having supported for almost 40 years, I sometimes wonder why I bother responding to negative posts on this messageboard, but sometimes things have to be said.
There's nothing like a defeat to bring out the dead-wood, negativity, etc etc.
But, tonight I'm aware to the fact that certain players shouldn't have played due to injury and recovery from injury, but they did and from what I saw, nobody deliberately knocked on, missed a tackle or whatever you'd like to criticise.
The criticisms aimed at Calland & his staff for each & every loss are in my opinion grossly unfair.
Do people think that we practice the art of losing the ball, missing a tackle, losing to a better team ?
Tonight we were beaten by a better team, so what. No Tamghart, Wrench, Haley, Larder & blokes putting their hands up to play for the team when they were clearly less than 100%, I'd say let's see what the end of the seaon brings and not judge anyone now.

Completely agree. That was the difference. When Fax made the tackle they thought the work was done and got back, allowing them to get quick play the balls time after time against little if any line speed. When Fev made the tackle they carried on working, winning the ruck and most times got our man on his back, then worked to get up in defence quickly. That sort of thing does come under coaching though and we should be aware of this tactic as it does make a huge difference.

Yes we weren't too good tonight,but that doesn't mean we're on the scrapheap.Get behind the manager and the team for the rest of the season.You never know whats gonna happen next.
Everyone,well nearly everyone on here,predicted that we were going to win this game.Like the man says we just got beaten by the better team on the night.As supporters stay positive and get behind the team;Thats what we're supposed to be there for innit??
