I have been saying for some time that the club is experiencing financial problems, and attempting to hide the size of the problem. No one at the club will comment on anything officially or give any resaurance to say I'm wrong. I simply don't know who is running the club and to me it looks like we are heading in the same direction as we were in 2006, the last time we almost went bust, and the old Board were thrown out...apart from one member, who is still present.

To add to this we are now being asked to buy season tickets, with uncertainty about the South stand and clearly a squad recruitment list that indicates we will struggle considerably next season in a tough and uncompromising league. There isn't a single player that excites me, although there are a few I know will work very hard for team and some youngsters who MAY prove ok as time goes on.

I am sorry but whilst I know I am never happy this all looks very unsatisfactory to a simple fan.

Ominous signs, the reports about wages, shutting parts of the ground, coaches gone. We really did bank on top 4 and expect it eh?

Tough times ahead and another difficult season maybe?

Difficult season maybe ? unless the youngsters really step up we're looking at a relegation battle.Is Simon Grix playing on next year ? don't think there was anything in the millionaire rumour or if there was it didn't happen.

Swinton have signed Matt Sarsfield and Jack Murphy,I think they could be a surprise package next season.

You know, it must be hard to run a club like Fax. No tangible assets to borrow against or sell onto someone more ambitious. Just debt and the hope that you might sneak into the top 4. Whilst assuring fans that growth and Super League is the future. Must be soul destroying!

Applies to pretty much any club, given a small variation in objectives, depending on where you finished.
