Could list all the RFL experiments that didn't work as well (or at least things/CLubs that have failed with the RFL's input)

i think the word 'hate' is also a big risk!

it could come across as childish and bitter, but then again i do 'hate' the way the RFL have handled this whole expansion/franchising affair!

Forget the name of the campaign if you don't like it. It's what it/we represent that's important!! We want our Sport back without dictation and a game ran by a transparent governing body who don't constantly move the goal posts!! Thus is what are campaign is about BACK US AND YOUR CLUB!!

I just feel, in the cold light of day that our SL licence application up against a SL club's application would lose out every time. Even against crusaders! That is where we, and all championship clubs need to attack this from.

Also the fact that the RFL changed the rules re adminstration to protect crusaders and inadvertantly saved wakefield. Someone needs to ask who would have gone if crusaders hadn't folded.

Also how crusaders can be such a shambles when being run by the RFL.

Last and no means least - they need to be asked what they plan for our competition - if anything at all. An ill planned attempt to place a french expansion team in there? Fail! How many teams will be in our league next year? Fail. Six games to go and no-one knows what there is to play for in the championships! Fail.

Let's not look bitter, let's show the world what a shambles lewis and wood are! Please, drop the hate and forget about us not getting a licence/promoted and use the RFL's other incompetences against them!

Exactly mate hence why our campaign is about bringing back P&R and ridding our game of this franchising debacle. A return to a sport and excitement!!

This press release is brilliant. As a Leigh fan I have being going on about the same since the licence system started.

I for one will be fully supporting this challenge.

We must hold the RFL to account about their decisions, inconsistencies and lack of transparency.

To do nothing is not an option.

This will make the RFL sit up and listen. I feel sure there is a huge support for the re-intriduction of P&R.

Strangely enough, a big part of me would be very happy of we got into super league via a licence. Knowing that everything we'd need to survive is place. Not going for broke to try and get promoted.

Of course the whole licensing thing would have to be run in the correct manner. That is a whole different story!

While I agree with the principal points raised, I have too many reasons to not want to be involved in this.

Is the Trust been used as a vehicle to carry this "Hate RFL Love P&R Thing"?

The trust has done well raising money over the past year for the u23s (and years gone by for other things) and could potentially damage its reputation.

Is this activity in the interests of a Supporters Trust? Supporters Direct mission statement reads - [i"Our goal is to promote sustainable spectator sports clubs based on supporters' involvement & community ownership"[/i. This to me is nothing to do with the running of the club and the like, and would possibly be better placed as an activity for the supporters club.

Its everything the Trust is all about Brew. Its acting as the voice of the supporters of which a large majority I would confidently guess are miffed about the whole franchise process.

in all seriousness as a fax fan i see the word 'hate' as a mistake, so soon after our decline of a franchise. however, i do believe that the supporters trust are doing this for the right reasons and not just 'sour grapes'.

Halifax ST know that the RFL aint going to change their minds, but what this campaign might do, live on sky, is get the voice out for fans below SL.

this time Fax missed out, we still havent heard why? but many on here believe its because our bid wasnt good enough, maybe that was the case. But i believe it was because the RFL saw big money Glover and rubbed their hands!

this campaign, if carried out correctly will let the world know that the RL community that choose to support it could make a difference.

the differnce that needs to be made in my opinion is new people in charge of our great sport, people that dont gamble with Rugby league's reputation and gamble on its future, expansion worked with Catalans and i aplaud that, but can any true RL fan say they think its going to catch on anywhere else??!
