The truth and my honest opinion,do you really believe you can sign Mr Chase and stay under the SC.?

We have been inundated with Fax fans on our forum recently. Mr Jagger in particular is all over it like a rash. Think you sensible Fax fans are copping the backlash from some of the recent needling coming from your side of the pennines!

I doubt we're the only club that wan't to sign him, so I imagine Super League or NRL for Rangi. We don't NEED Rangi Chase.....

I could not care less about Leigh lets focus on us eh?
Some Fax fans seem to be getting carried away, yes we finished well last year but we are still part time and next year there will be another full time team in Sheffield so it will be even harder.
I think we will go well and hopefully get in the top 4 but to expect us to compete for top 2 is delusion come on Leigh are still a good side they just ran out of steam.

Well said fax4kife. One of the reasons I don't post regularly is some of the drivel that people spout . I don't mind bit of banter etc but sometimes .......I'm already really looking forward to next season , our squad definitely deeper and better than last season , we can rest players next year without weakening the line up . As for Leigh , they are a very good side who should finish in the top two next term . In my opinion they simply ran out of steam , having to play a full league season plus numerous CC cup games against SL opposition took their toll on them .

Mick, Rangi Chase is currently living in Pennington, Leigh. SO obviously he wants to sign for us, even if it doesn't happen because of the championship 'salary cap', it show our club does have some kind of 'appeal'.
He's is back in New Zealand for 2 weeks, and is hoping to get things 'sorted' on his return. Saw him in 'Landside' off license, but he just bought some milk....honest !

For what it's worth I hope, as a Leigh fan, that Fax do well next season. I like that they're investing in future development and I also think that Marshall worked wonders last season. Fax gave us hard games every time we played.

There are a few of your players I can't stand but I know we have plenty that are hated by opposition fans too. I reckon Smeaton will be an excellent signing. Always looked solid when I've seen him play.

Signing big names doesn't guarantee you success. Look at Moi Moi, Hock (Past their best and just looking for a final payday before retirement). Would much prefer RM policy of bringing in potential such as Bennion who are hungry to succeed and one day play in Super League (players with something to prove). Rugby league is a team game and that's why we finished better than Leigh (who are a team of individuals). We also are a better coached team and Paul Rowley's inexperience started to show towards the end of last season.

Chazzer your last sentence doesn't make sense Paul Rowley is FAR more experienced than RM ,so it had nothing to do with experienced,Leigh just fan out of steam against SL clubs that all.We will see what happens next year.

Well I know from last season who the better coach is with resources available to him. Leigh spent full salary cap and we looked far stronger in 8's When I say experienced I feel RM has had a good grounding working under Tony Smith. Time will tell Charlie and maybe with your additions you will be far stronger next season.

They certainly ran out of steam against the mighty Fax Ian. I hadn't realised that we had got back into SL yet though.
