The teams who receive 1.8m have to fund their academies and other things out of that.The disparity is
more like 1.3m/1m.

I am concerned with any team that gets well under 5000 crowds and wants to go fulltime. There is no way that a club getting 2000 crowds plus sponsorship can afford to go Fulltime. Its OK having a sugar daddy but what happens when his circumstances change- Mr Thomas for example was bankrolling Leigh and then could afford to and then Leigh were in the brown stuff. I would be worried more than excited if I was a Leigh fan to be honest.

But what if there's 6 sugar daddy's peeing into the same pot?

An extra half a million quid from SKY just about makes it doable, strangely the plan that Leigh are now looking to implement isnt a million miles away from what I wanted them to do 10 years ago, but no bugger would listen back then, they said I was barmy

,we at Leigh have NO sugar daddies , just a hard working committed BOM who are determined to push forward for success .Around 6-8 hardworking Businessmen plus a very hard working new CEO in Rob Parker , who has brought in many new Sponsers , with more to come , you will also find the Contracts for Riddy and Brierley only come in force next season , and others will follow .

We also have other moneyspinners like Centurion TV , which has a fair few subscribers , and LISA which still continues to raise funds , myself being a Fundraiser for the Club ,I say to you Faxers don't be cynics , and back bite and Catcall , try to emulate our Club , stop the Squabbling with Fax Town , and concentrate on your own Future before you are left behind .

I would much rather see Fax with us in the Top 2 than Fev , Sheff , or the Bullfrogs .Charlie knows .

Leigh Retail are selling Easter eggs. Pretty innovative.

I hear the idea came from a tip off - "Have you tried selling Easter eggs at Easter?!" I hope I'm not about to take the gloss off their next big initiative, but I hear they're going to sell Christmas trees in December!

Also, in an incredible gesture to their fans, they are currently selling GF tickets on sale or return, up to the second week of the play-offs.
