Yes I am not going to those venues. My decision, doesn't mean we have to go round in circles with the same thread over and over again.

I don't have a argument to make chris, I am saying these threads are now boring and damaging.

No but you clearly post as someone who disagrees with boycotting the game and the reasons why people (including me) won't be going to Fev for this game or any game again at POR. Yet you are quite clearly one of those people?? Confused me that's all you give your logic on why you shouldn't be put off going?? Yet you clearly comment on another thread that Fev is somewhere you won't attend again? Surely you can see your statement on this thread is flawed??

Yes its that easy to get a conviction isnt it, ring up with a name and bingo.
Sorry but it doesnt quite work like that'"

I was certainly "stupid" in assuming you were one of the decent fans.

Re-read my post and you will see that it is pro Fev. I didn't say that Fev fans were withholding valuable information. Clearly somebody is though or are you that "stupid" to think the only chance of a conviction is by extracting a confession from the alleged culprits!

Your aggressive attitude simply reinforces the (mistaken) views of some on here that all Fev are the same as the minority.

Not at all, I am not going and that's my decision as others are entitled to there's. What I am saying is that banging on about why not to go etc is not doing anyone any favours. As I put we and I included myself are not saints when it comes to shouting, swearing at times when not realising we have a go at other clubs. I honestly don't care who goes and who doesn't that's up to each individual.

I am sick of theads slating another club at any opportunity because of one very unfortunate and nasty incident which involved one or two people. Not one or two thousand. I have had my two penneth at them in the past but draw a line under that now, I don't have to criticise every time we play them for the next ......(to be inserted after 27th July )

Quote: gingdong ". You blame Fax fans for starting a fire when there is no proof Who the person was who started it.

The same as there is no proof about who commited the attack'"

Oh dear you have over stepped the mark pal.
Yer it might have been Fax fans smoking in the stand causing that fire but it could also have been fans attending the Championship One Final or even staff who knows? We have been through this all before.
As for who attacked Dave Singer well what you trying to say it was not even a Fev fan?
Well let me tell you I was in the same coach park and was there only minutes after the attack apparently (I did not know until I had boarded my coach and the driver told me who was from Leeds by the way and he said it was Fev fans who attacked one of our fans) and I do know there was a lot of very angry looking Fev fans hanging around outside their coaches, luckily for me a decent Fev fan walking near me as we got near to all the coaches warned me to put my flag away (I have said this before a huge thanks to him) as we approached the coach park. This after how long were we in the ground celebrating our win 15 to 20 minutes [iat least [/iso why were they hanging around?
We all know it was Fev fans so do not try deflect this onto who?
Anyway enough lets concentrate on the match, we are underdogs and I would expect Fev to win but you never know its cup football, come on Fax!

OK, I have finaly had enough of the crap written about my club.

I like many Fev fans at the final had a good drink enjoyed the banter and the atmosphere and enjoyed the match (apart form the last quater) I then went home trying to work out how we managed to lose the game and being totally down about it.

I did not know about the attack on Dave until the next day and I have been through the walk back to the coach park over and over again but I can't be of any help.

All I can do is give what I witnessed on that day and that is that there were idiots attending who attached themselves to both Fev and Fax. I think it is probably 99.9% true that one of these idiots who attached themselves to Fev caused the injuries to Dave and as Fev fans all we can do is condone such an horrible attack.

However I am now sick of Fax fans slaughtering my club when on the final day Fax fans were just as bad. For example the Fax fans clearly came over to the Fev stand when there was the Fire in the stand. Yes I know that Fev fans were chanting the w***y Halifax song but as Fax fans you can't lie and say that your supporters were angels just like I can't lie and say the Fev fans on that day were angels.

I believe Dave as indicated that he as no remorse to Featherstone Rovers but it seems some fax fans can't move on.

To all those Fax fans who attend the game on Thursday, hope it is a cracking game and I hope to see you in the bar for a drink. For all thise Fax fans who continually slate my club and boycott the game, I hope I don't have the misfortune to see you at Fev ever again.

yes the tape of the game clearly shows a few idiots from fax taunting the fev fans for a few seconds. the main word there being a few maybe 5 but that was our minority of the 100s entering the pitch as advised for safety. then followed dozens of fev fans running down their stand in reaction to a few young idiots. so basicly im saying you clearly have a bigger monority of idiots willing to cause trouble and it showed clearly outside before and after the game too and many games since when your not even playing fax

Im with Pencil all the way here, after reading the comments here on this particular thread, well it just reminds me back to the playground and the arguements we had as kids, Lets start and be adults about this, some supporters say they are boycotting the game, what good is that going to do, because i tell you what if i was a Halifax player i wouldnt be too happy knowing that some of the supporters were not prepared to get behind the players. We are supposed to be Rugby League lovers, ive witnessed many things that have happened at games through out the years ive supported Featherstone from both sets of supporters, both home and away, and yes ive reported what ive seen and will always continue to do so, yes it as spoilt my enjoyment of the game at times, but it hasnt stopped me going to these grounds/stadiums again. So come on your team needs you!

The main thing i will remeber from that day other than the rugby will be a group of Fev fans who were clearly off their heads before the game trying to cause trouble in the pub we were in near the ground. The other thing i will remember is the group of Fev fans that when we were evacuated on to the pitch surged down the steps to try and get at the Fax fans, that is fact and can be seen on the Sky footage.

Its a real shame because ive met some really nice Fev fans and had a good bit of banter before games with them and i dont think they should all be tarred with the same brush. I will bang on again about how both clubs should have come together to show a stance of unity along with true RL fans but this never happened and i blame both clubs in that respect.

Thank you for that, on the day when the Fax fans were on the pitch and some of our so called fans rushed to the side of the pitch, i was down there pulling some of them back because they hadnt a clue what was happening and thought at first it was a pitch invasion.
