My point earlier was that leigh today played average at best , i just cant beleive they are unbeaten in the league on performances like todays, was that a poor leigh performance or a good one?

you may disagree but we looked weak in the centre's. haley not to the standard and missed black's creativity in the middle.....need sone forwards with a punch (not including gannon and a-zooo)

Today wasn't our best performance of the season by any means , we were patchy at best , Fax showed flashes of what they are capable of , most noticably when Penky is on the pitch , add Black,Nash to your team and a couple of big strong forwards and you won't be far away from where you where last season , yes us and Fev seem to be able to put both attack and defence together on the same day unlike most of the other clubs at the moment , that might change as the season wears on , but for now well just keep enjoying watching some good RL and a team happy to play that way

Fax played it a little too safe to start with. Probably sensible in planning the game tactics, but just went slightly too far. That said, without Penky on the field, we did lack imagination. As it stands, I'd play him for the full 80.
Folk are saying that Leigh didn't play well. For me, and despite the 3-try 2nd half disaster and the scoreline, that was one of our better performances (without the ball) for quite a while.
A loss, yes. A bonus point, yes. 6 points next weekend, and our season starts....
...back to the point - Leigh looked ordinary at times because of Fax...
They still remain the team to beat at the moment. |
