| In my view Dual Reg should only be used to cover injuries. I think the reserves who have stepped in have done a fine job. I think RM has used it sparingly and well. in my view there should be a limit on how many dual reg players you use. Fev are like a Leeds second team the way they use it  |

Cheers Griff, I did think that it would be REALLY STUPID if you had to stick with the original 19, but the RFL made the rules up so I guess you can see my predicament. |

For the avoidance of any doubt, DR players aren't generally provided free.
It works a bit like getting a plumber. The plumbing company employs the plumber and pays him a wage. Then you pay the plumbing company £x + VAT for him to pop round and examine your pipes.
For DR players, as opposed to plumbers, the price may be more or less than his actual wage. The club may be happy to take a couple of hundred if the alternative is to have the player standing round, sussling tea. |
