Which hoops other than I guess having a ground that allows a decent attendance, or in Eagles case, as ground. Or will they once again take a look and scoff at our business plan?

I read somewhere that the behind the scenes aspects had to be right to qualify entry to SL. It's another RFL con job. It's like sending a kid into a spice shop and not giving him any brass for some spogs. Bullies have all the right criteria no doubt but if you haven't got a stupid nickname or your clubs name ends in an X forget it!

The RFL has published Facility Standards (essentially relating to their home Stadium) which have to be met before a Club is eligible to move up from National League to Championship or from Championship to Super League.
All were inspected earlier this year and required to submit proposals in respect of any shortcomings for consideration by the RFL Board this Month.
In the case of Halifax, the only substantial issue was the absence of an Electronic Scoreboard. Assurances have been given to the RFL and our position in the Qualifiers, alone, will determine the League the Club plays in and/or the level of Central Distribution it receives during 2016.
I am not privy to information on any other Club, so please do not jump to conclusions in respect of any other Club when I only quote Halifax' position.

So if our scoreboard guru uses a calculator to add the scores up will that count as an electronic scoreboard, or if we add a couple of lights to it?

It makes me laugh (and angry) that the RFL say we need an electronic score board to get into SL. So Cas and Wakefeild have an electronic score board but the grounds are a sh* t hole but that's ok so you can stay in SL.

Yes, so not getting relegated for Wakey is absolutely paramount as without a new ground they might not get back in even if they were to get promoted next time round(even with an electronic scoreboard!)

Didn't the council promise a new scoreboard for the World Cup game?

RFL to release fixtures on wednesday. and days to play? and tv games?

Not so, I'm afraid, as others have said.

TV games for weeks 1-3 announced Wednesday, weeks 4-6 at 11 days notice and week 7 at 7 days notice if I remember right.
