We also got a torrent of abuse as Fax fans - Sheep Shag$$rs; All Yorkshire men Sh$g Sheep etc. And the swearing at us was awful considering there were loads of children about - both Fax and Leigh youngsters.

Didn't meet one nice Leigh fan today, unlike previous years.

They all seemed to be trying to justify that they should still be in this league - last season's gone just move on.

Hope we DON'T meet Leigh again this year if this is how the MAJORITY of their fans behave.

And what a waste of time complaining to the guys in fluorescent jackets just there for the money - I mean Stewards.

I wish we would sort out our defence but the attacking from us today was awesome. The first try was definately forward but we should have passed inside it was the best option! Said needs to stop stupid passes like the one near the end should have just concentrated more he is costing us tries recently

Well I must admit that all of this has come as a complete surprise, I was stood in the North and heard nowt of any stewards speaking to people or confrotations or owt

I was near Leyther_Matt and I didn't hear anything said to the stewards near us either. Don't tar us all with the same brush most Leigh fans today went to watch a good game and it was a good game. Don't assume all Leigh fans are like that when it's just a small minority who chose to prat around.

Great win today we are a real pleasure to watch in attack.
We kept letting them back into it, its our biggest weakness that we can never close a game down, we know Nanyn the big fat loaf is just a kicking machine so watch for those kick offs, one was perfectly judged and nobody could have stopped it but the others were just sloppiness from us not catching the ball and letting it bounce.
Brannigan and Worrincy were outstanding, what was Stanley Gene doing today him and Said rushing out of the line then either missing the man or catching them high and giving a penatly away, stupid!
The scoreline flattered them really it was a reverse of last week with those 2 late tries, one was just a Ref giving them easy yardage but why did we try scoring before thet when we had that break away and Said passed it to their man?
We need to learn to just shut teams out and play it safe when we have a game won, we could and should have stopped them getting a bonus point today but hey ho it was a good effort all the same, when we ran the ball they could not live with us.
Good turnout from Fax too.

,I can honestly say that I will NEVER stand in the North Stand at the LSV again.
My day was also completely ruined.....COMPLETELY.......I don't care who won,who grounded the ball correctly,who's side the ref was on,etc,etc,its all piffle.
As a mouthy,loud,singing,cheering supporter myself,I never resort to RACIST abuse towards players,personal verbal abuse towards fans and an overall THREATENING behaviour towards everyone.......This is this !st time since returning to Rugby League that I have experienced such a disgraceful display like this,and I've only missed 2 matches in the last 5 years.
If people like that were down at The Shay I wouldn't be there and so wouldn't most of the rest of the supporters.....We would get rid of them....so why don't you.
To put women,children and young rugby supporting folk in the same stand as that pure vileness is a total oversight on behalf of the people in charge.
I,for one,may also be taking this further.
I actually felt like we had lost when I left the stadium,but it was Rugby League that had.

I have read these sorts of incidents on this occasion and on other visits to LSV, I have also seen the same type of incidents reported on other clubs websites, therefore why have the Leigh club not acted on this. Is it because the people who have reported these incidents have only done so on an open forum and not direct to the people who should act, the club themselves.

I have to say that I have never heard or been subjected to this kind of behaviour, in fact the Leigh supporters sat around us, whilst being passionate for their own team, were very friendly and accepted that there was errors from both sides that went un-punished and whilst our first try could well have been as a result of a forward pass, this was more than made up for with the Donalan try.

I do urge those of you who were subjected to this vile behaviour to write direct to the Leigh club.
