All three will be missed from such a small squad, after all we don't have the luxury of the RFL taking a blind eye to salary caps and other more serious misdemeanours (allegedly)

Charlie, Adam would get in ANY team in this division. His only problem has been that he has had awful luck with injuries. Also when listing the mighty Leighs iillumnaries, don't forget the saying....Pride comes before the fall.Think on!

John I'm not underestimating anyone, every team has and needs it's workhorses as I've listed ours at Leigh ,they are not the headline grabbers but the work they put in is so valuable,I really rate Andrew Dixon yet I'm sure a few Fax fans would say Andrew who?It's the same for Leythers with Robinson,I've said before how high I rate Ambler,and stand by opinion of him being the only Fax player who would get into the current Leigh team.
As for Hock?I think you are being very harsh on the lad,he will become a valued member of the Leigh team ,believe me John,last week Gaz was a bit headstrong I agree but he will come good.

To be fair Leighs weakest part of their team is their props and second rowers as we have seen first hand in the games against them and the numerous times I have seen them other than that. If they do not get promoted it will be because of their forwards as IMO Leighs backs are probably as good as most mid table SL teams backs but I do not even think they are the best pack in the championship. On that note Ambler, Calahnae(best prop in the league), Divorty, and Manning would all walk in to the Leigh team and get plenty of game time IMO.

Robinson is not a flashy player nor one that will standout. But its the little things he does well and makes him an important member of the Fax team. Its rare that he gets tackled by one player and he is a player that puts in 100% and tires the opponents out both in attack and defence. I dont really care if he could get in at Leigh. I am just glad he is at Fax and is an inspiration for those that play for Fax. I would rather have Robbo over somebody like Hock or Barlow, who maybe more talented, but are not as consistant as Robbo, nor have his 100% attitude in my opinion.

I wish you had told me, Mrshalifaxjohn and I stayed in Penrith last night and tonight, perhaps we could have met up for breakfast and we could have discussed D/R which incidentally has never taken place.
