Well I've waited 24 hours to calm down and be able to find summat positive to say about yesterdays game. The trouble is I haven't and I can't. KH's comment before the game "we will have to be at our best to even get anywhere near Featherstone" set the tone and says it all about his approach to the game. Totally 2nd best in every aspect of the game yesterday against a Rovers side in disarray and shorn of half of their 1st choice players, an absolutely disgraceful display from Halifax RLFC. Our coach does not rate him enough to offer him a new contract. The lad should be ready to step up to SL but instead has gone stale under a coach with no clue how to get the best out of him. Luckily the move to Dewsbury should turn out to be very good for him.

I would say Miles Greenwood is as good anyone in this league.

Sorry but cant agree about fieldhouse. I think he is overrated. Doesn't run ball back hard enough but goes sidewards, often mistimes his runs into the line and doesn't straighten up and cant pass in either direction. Give me Miles Greenwood any day .

Fortunately, the ale numbed the memories of the rugby match.
