Knowing the history of recent Leigh v Fax postponements mind, I bet it clashes with our fixture next season!

Both the east stand and south stand now sold out with very limited tickets available in the north stand. Does anyone know what the capacity of the stadium is?!

Should be interesting to see what the att will be at Salford tomorrow

I wonder what they'll be doing about bar and catering facilities. The SSL will only cater for the South Stand and the East Stand bar will never handle the rest.

Just a thought, it may re-emphasise the Shay's shortcomings as it stands. Yes, I know it doesn't have to cope with 10,000+ crowds very often but if it is ever going to be self-financing (under what ever owner) it needs to be able to handle big fixtures and concerts.

Really chuffed with this attendence. I really thought we would struggle to get above three thousand.
Just like last year when the Olympic torch came to Halifax and I thought one man and his dog would turn out and it transpired that the streets were lined with people.
Goes to show that when there are 'events' people will turn out in numbers.

Apparently what Leigh does today , Fax does tomorrow we hosted Tonga on Tuesday , you host them on Sunday , we have Elton John appearing at the LSV next Summer , Fax are trying to get THE Barron Knights to appear at the Shay LIVE with special Guests Esther and Abi Ofarim ,and Littlerich-ard .As for Marillion ?A bit fishy for me ,Lavender Blue anyone ?
